It was ok
Rialto Theatre-Tucson - Tucson
I really really wanted to like this, as I’m a huge David cross fan. I’m not much into standup comedy, but I thought I would give it a try since I really like him. He had a tendency to get stuck on topics, and it was quite a bit political. He did have a few good jokes here and there, but the ongoing of the rants lost my attention. I really wanted to like it, but left feeling as though I wish I hadn’t gone.

Awesome
Rialto Theatre-Tucson - Tucson
Show was great! It’s my favorite venue but they had some music that was coming from outside that was a bit of a distraction. At time it overpowered the comedy.

David Cross Review
The Egyptian Theatre - Boise
It's David Cross, what can I say? He's hilarious. I probably would have liked it better if he had been wearing Tobias' denim shorts. Yeah, that definitely would have made a better show. Do that next time.

I paid for this???
The Egyptian Theatre - Boise
This is the worst event I have ever been to. There were very few comedic skits. The bulk of his very long (never ending it seemed) set was all about the current political landscape. There is nothing funny about this subject unless you are Jewish, living in bubble in Brooklyn and rich. No wonder David Cross is appearing a local movie theatre venues. He doesn't have the stand-up talent for any larger venues. Speaking of venues, the Eyptian Theatre in Boise ID was wonderful but they need to stick to showing old movies verses providing an opportunity to disappoint a theatre full of patrons. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Thoughtful night of yuks...
The Egyptian Theatre - Boise
I really appreciated this David Cross set. He is of course immensely talented as an actor and writer, but doing stand-up well is a whole different thing? Funny and insightful, he tackles difficult material without being preachy. A few bits kept bouncing around in my head afterward--it was more than just a night out of levity. Grateful to have spent time absorbing meaningful dark humor! Love him. More, please.

David Cross isn’t for everyone
The Egyptian Theatre - Boise
I thought most of the show was funny, but my wife didn’t laugh one time (and the tickets were her birthday gift!) and we ended up leaving early early. I actually stayed for almost the entire set, but my wife waited in the lobby for me. David was closing as we walked out.

Devastating.
The Egyptian Theatre - Boise
I have seen Mr. Cross many times, but he really brought the heat to this performance. Brutal, highly offensive (to the many walking out) and incredible. 10/10 will see him any time he comes through. The Egyptian is also the best venue in Boise for comedy.

Far left and preachy
Irving Plaza - New York
Spent the first 10 minutes of show showing the crowd a video on his phone that no one could see. Then the next 20min bashing the Christian religion. We walked out and left. It wasnt funny. And he said umm a 100 times

When playing PGH, don’t encourage audience participation
Roxian Theatre - Pittsburgh
Our first time at the Roxian. Nice venue. Folding chairs were pretty flimsy and uncomfortable. Sound is not great. The warm up comic was a bit of a screamer do I missed half of his jokes… and his name. David Cross was great but constant interruptions from the audience were a real drag.

So happy that we could see him at an affordable price!
