    Bromberg at ponte vedra

by FolkMusicFan on 2/27/22Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Bromberg and his band were fabulous as always. It’s always delight to watch him perform with the other world-class musicians he puts together. Ponte vedra is a great venue. The only downside was some idiots in the second row were talking and then laughing when Bromberg did an unaccompanied vocal. Pathetically disrespectful. If anybody knows those people, please make sure they know what they did.

    Bromberg Quintet

Great show - blues, gospel, rock, traditional country and Sharon! linked with interesting stories. Always fun and this was one of the best.

    Some of my favorite songs,

by J. R. on 2/25/22Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

the show seemed a little flat. I haven't seen Bromberg in concert since the days of the Armadillo in Austin where he was one of my very favorite musicians. This show was performed in a small venue in Ponte Verde Beach, FL without great acoustics and an audience of mostly 50+ who seemed almost bored with it all. I am pleased I heard some of my very favorite songs, but left the show feeling a bit disappointed. It may be that the venue had a 10:00 curfew or that the band was as uninspired by the show as the audience. Regardless, David Bromberg remains one of my all-time favorites and I'm pleased to have seen him play one last time.

    Bromberg Rocks

by LadyMV on 7/12/18Old Whaling Church - Edgartown

Not only was Dave Bromberg terrific, his quartet of 4 extremely talented men was outstanding. These guys love to play and love to share this love with their audience. Bravo for a great night. If only there was room to dance!

    Bromberg: Pure, Simple, Superb!

by GoldyfromBrooklyn on 5/19/13Bears Den At Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel - Niagara Falls

The quartet (+1) was nothing short of fabulously fun, and sometimes fabulously serious. Either way, total enjoyment. Old tunes and new tunes (soon to be released) spanned the gamut from lowdown dirty blues to bluegrass to traditional to folk to blues with Bromberg's hysterical comedic twists. The sound was great as their engineer knew full-well that this venue was small with very decent acoustics. In fact, the encore saw them not only unplug (except bass guitar), but without microphones....doing three-part harmony and solos on guitar, mandolin and fiddle.
