    Rock and Roll!

by C. S. on 4/17/19The Space at Westbury Theater - Westbury

Excellent show, great venue. Dave played old/new new old music and of course some classics. The Kinks were the first band I saw and at MSG! It was great to see my childhood hero/idol play once again.

Legendary Dave Davies, didn't disappoint, with a blend of solo songs and Kinks classics...

    No Excitement

by shoedog47 on 4/17/19The Space at Westbury Theater - Westbury

I love the Kinks music but Sundays show was just plain old average!! There was nothing special @ all. It looks like Dave really needs Ray back with him. We all know that won't happen.

    Dave Davies concert

by mattfpp on 4/16/19Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

The Dave Davies concert at the Count Basie theater on Sat 4/13/19 was as great an experience as I was hoping for. My son & I have seen Dave play a few times at smaller venues & the concert lived up to our expectations. I was surprised to see just a 3 piece band but they sounded great. Can't wait to see Dave again & maybe with his brother.

    Love the Kinks

by D. L. on 4/16/19Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Dave Davies was personable and very appreciative of the audience. Performed with a three piece band with a talented woman vocalist for two songs and performed for about an hour and a half. All were Kinks songs except two songs. Not necessarily the Kinks songs you wanted to hear. Not a greatest hits show. The best song of the night not a Kinks song called Death Of A Clown. Great songs including TIL the end of the day and You really got me. I enjoyed the concert as the venue was beautiful and the music was entertaining. A stronger set list would have been preferred.

    Very little effort

by A. L. on 4/16/19Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

It was an unfortunate show. A former key performer, Dave Davies is not able to front a meaningful show during 2019. It would be better to stay home and listen to two old Kinks albums.

    Good

by Doreen on 4/16/19Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

It was good just too short. Shortest concert I’ve ever attended.

    He "Really Got Me"!

by Mr. Lucky on 4/15/19Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

It was nice to see and hear an old rock-n-roll legend from the 1960's perform. He is in his 70's and so, has naturally lost some of his energy from his younger days. But he still has his characteristic voice and he had a nice rapport with the audience, made up of mostly people over 50. He can still play the guitar well and he "really got me"! It was great to see and hear him live in concert. Keep on rockin', Dave!

    A bit disappointed

by Re on 4/14/19Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

Was hoping to hear more old Kinks songs. Did not like the panty thing. Band was good. First time at Scottish Rite. Enjoyed the seats n venue

    Kind of disappointing

by Bob on 4/13/19Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

He bills himself as Dave Davies of the Kinks, but sings only a few of their charted hits from 1965. What about the songs of 1966? Sunny Afternoon? Well Respected Man? How about Lola? The hits from the 1980's? He also pretends to take requests, but after reading past set lists, he ignores the requests and sings what he wants. He was hard to understand. His voice was a bit horse, and he claims it was from yelling at his manager.
