LUMINARY
by DA68 on 6/15/12USF Theatre 2 - TampaThe evening of dance was full of exciting creative performers,, the choreography was outstanding, and I have no favorite's. LUMINARY: NOTE: I noticed the dances looking at each other - whats happening! I felt bad that Choreographer, Keisha Calderon and her five dances had to perform their piece to her music that was out of sink. Because the music "Joah garrels and Adrian Leggoe" was started way before it was supposed to. This raddled the dances and confused them, yet they improvised and tried to made it happen. The sound director was not paying attention and should be replaced. Wake up, any director with knowledge would have stopped it and made an announcement and let them start over. Where is the professionalism? After talking to her after, she commented that this was her FSU Senior graduate signature piece, to show it off to her peers and faculty. I am not sure if the Florida Dance Association was aware of this. Keisha Calderon was deeply heart broken and hurt. She deserves an apology.
