Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Dan Mintz started his stand-up career in Boston and went on to appear on shows such as Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Comedy Central Presents: Dan Mintz. A writer and performer on Important Things with Demetri Martin, Dan has also written for shows such as MTV’s Human Giant, The Andy Milonakis Show, and the HBO series Lucky Louie. Dan is currently the voice of Tina on FOX's new animated series Bob’s Burgers.
Everything was fantastic! The acts before Dan we're good but when Dan came out, I was literally crying tears from laughing so hard. Seriously, so funny and such a sweetheart afterwards when we got to take pictures with him. Food and drink service was top notch. I'll definitely be back for another show!
very cozy venue, and we loved seeing dan live! it’s true that he sounds just like tina (or that tina is his everyday voice). we were also thrilled to be able to take a picture with him after the show.
I loved Dans deadpan approach to comedy. You never knew which direction he was going with a joke. He had us laughing the whole time. After the show he met with all of his fans and was extremely kind and took pictures with everyone. If he is back in town I will definitely make the 4 hour trek to go see him again.
I saw Dan perform at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco. If you love deadpan humor and/or Nathan For You, you have good taste and will be VERY pleased! Tina Belcher he is not, but his stand-up is just as likable (but don't bring the kids). Download The Stranger for a taste of fun!
