    Always love a dada show

    by JimK on 1/23/24

These guys are fantastic. Label issues and Michael’s issues with carpal tunnel kept them from getting huge— but I’ve seen several shows and never been disappointed. Joie and Phil are 7Horse and they rock the house as well. Looking forward to their 2023 shows!

    Would like the time back

by bjpolo on 9/27/17House of Blues New Orleans - New Orleans

This was such a disappointing evening. Travelled from Virginia to NOLA for birthday celebration and the Dada 25th anniversary tour was supposed to be a highlight. Of a 3 person band, only two showed up. They tried, but the one who is the lead guitar/lead singer was not there....no way to make that work. They sang 4 Dada songs, mid set, and everything else was just not ok. I am sure it isn't the fault of the guys who made it, but DADA fans should have just been given a refund.

WOULD NEVER MISS A DADA CONCERT

by SpikeCat on 7/24/13OC Fair & Event Center - Costa Mesa

Thirteen of us went to see dada perform at the OC Fair. One of the guys who had never seen dada before, said that dada is a musician's band. You would never believe there are only three guys in the band because the sound they put out is unbelievable. Michael Gurley is my guitar god and when Michael and Joey sing together, the harmonies are out of this world. Phil plays the drums to perfection and love his vocals on "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" (my favorite song). Have no idea how many times I've seen them perform. My husband and I won't miss one of their shows.

    20 years of Dada

    by MadMike73 on 2/25/13Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I've been following Dada for over 16 years. I've been to more shows than I can remember... With 7Horse opening, the only way this could have been better is if there hadn't been a snow storm keeping people away for the night... I would have loved to see see a full house. Still, it was great to hear songs that spanned the decades...

Went for the Killroos and was not dissappointed!

    by cab2274 on 2/24/13The Norva - Norfolk

It was great seeing the Killroos playing again. The band was tight as always and Liana's voice was in top form. They will be playing at Hot Tuna on St. Patrick's Day and if you missed them at The NorVa, you have another chance to hear the best band in Virginia again! Welcome Back!

    20th anniversary tour

by lordsnee on 2/24/13The Norva - Norfolk

dada was awesome! I saw the show in Chicago and NorVA- both were excellent. Met the band before the show in Chicago and after at the NorVa. These are rock stars with no attitudes and down to earth. Sincere and convey that they really appreciate their loyal fan base.

    dada/the most underrated band ever

by randyeye on 2/19/13Wilbur Theatre - Boston

dada is a band that deserves to be famous. It is their name, poor management, or lack of airplay in the commercial market?.....I have never quite understood it. 3 incredibly talented players, especially michael gurley as the master of the stratocaster. Great harmonies, hooks, dynamics...they are musician's musicians. Their shows are always great, I never get tired of their music, which is very varied, paying homage to the great bands of the 60's, and 70's Sad , to me , that they could not fill the Wilbur.....Looking forward to more new material....and for all the fans out there....you know well why we never tire of dada.....may they record and tour for many years to come!!!

    Major Mojo

    by E7b9 on 2/19/13Wilbur Theatre - Boston

In a sane world, Dada would be covering the airwaves. All three are fantastic musicians in their own right. Together, they have a mojo that very few bands achieve. Michael Gurley is on of the very best rock guitarists in the last 30 years. The band's harmonies are without compare. Somehow they have a synthesis and transmission of the very best of 60's psychedelic music and a sound that is their own and always identifiable. It was a gift to be able to see them again and I appreciate their efforts in keeping good music alive.
