    Da Vinci exhibit was sad.

by Engineergal on 6/4/10Mosi Tampa Museum of Science and Industry - Tampa

We went because of our interest in Da Vinci's scientific accomplishments. Most of the models were so incomplete and incorrectly built they would not have functioned at all and it was impossible to figure out their intended use without looking at the information plaque. A further disappointment is that the pictures of Da Vinci's drawings were index card-size on the information plaques, and in most cases a significant portion of his drawings had been cropped.

    Da Vinci Was Unbelievable

by drisprings on 5/10/10Mosi Tampa Museum of Science and Industry - Tampa

I know some about Da Vinci, but learned a lot more and was amazed at just how many of his inventions we still use today! It was amazing.

    Underwhelmed

by BCTPA on 4/15/10MOSI - Tampa - Tampa

This showing was way over priced for what it was. There were basically just a handfull of short movies and 20 or so models of Da Vinci's engineering designs/drawings. Only a couple of the models were meant to represent the true size of the item - most were very small. There were no original pieces in the entire exhibit. It was mildly interesting, but there wasn't enough substance to warrant the ticket price and a trip to the museum.

    Davinci

by hhurst on 3/19/10Mosi Tampa Museum of Science and Industry - Tampa

this event was very well done. You can take your time and go at your own pace. Also, the dynamic mixed with static keeps you interested. I learned a lot.
