    Wax and Hoodie= Amazing

by JoshuaAvila on 5/6/12House of Blues - Houston

They were fantastic! In my opinion Wax shouldve been on longer, and they shouldve turned some lights on for taking pictures, but other than that it was great! Meeting hoodie was good, and being able to interact with them was great.

    insane

    by k920603 on 5/2/12Royale Boston - Boston

This was the second time I went to a Hoodie show, and it was even better than the first. Hoodie is an amazing performer who is more into his fans than anyone I've ever seen. He brings his everything with every performance, and when he's done, he doesn't just say goodnight. He waits around to meet every single fan who wants to meet him. Great music, a great show, and an all around great person. I highly suggest seeing Hoodie perform at least once, because chances are you'll want to keep seeing him every time he comes around. And do it soon, his shows are already starting to sell out, and he's only going to get bigger.

Hoodie Allen did a GREAT show!

by BlaiseF on 4/29/12Howard Theatre - Washington

It started at 8, I got there at about 9 and he came on at 9:10 or so. Everybody looked like huge fans. He did a bunch of songs, a few covers of like "Stronge"r and "It Wasn't Me" which was really unexpected and enjoyable. Jimmy did a drum solo which was amazing. He started with Leap Year stuff and a few from Pep Rally. Then he did like 3 from All American. He ended with "You are Not a Robot" and "No interruption" which had everyone going crazy and really pumped. It was a great show and he definetly knows how to move a crowd. At the end he was taking pictures with fans but the line was really long.

    Amazing Show

by TBradHudson on 4/25/12Howard Theatre - Washington

Hoodie kicked it, knocked it down then set it on fire. It's incredible watching someone do something they love. His energy and interaction with the crowd made the show and his music is almost better live. He also did a couple of great covers. Ticket prices and Merch were crazy affordable and he met with every single fan that stayed after the show. We can't wait until he comes through Baltimore/DC again. I would also be crazy not to mention the Howard Theater - the staff was some of the best I've ever seen and the venue itself is beautiful. GREAT VIP experience. Drinks were very reasonable but the ONLY complaint I could come up with is that the food (delicious) is priced very high - $18 for a burger - but you are most likely not going there for a meal.

    Absolutely exceeded expectations

by Musicster on 4/25/12Howard Theatre - Washington

I knew he was a new performer, so I wasn't sure how we would be live. Let me tell you, Hoodie was great! He really created a great crowd atmosphere (even for a Monday night) and performed like it was a sold out show at the Garden. This kid is going places!

    Hoodie was amazing

by DanReade on 4/25/12Howard Theatre - Washington

First off, excellence choice on Wax as the opening act. He was a fun opener that definitely got the crowd warmed up. Hoodie Allen then proceeded to knock the entire show out of the park. Most fun I've had at a concert in years, and i only paid 16 bucks for it. If I didn't have to stay in DC, i would probably follow him for a few stops on the tour to see him perform.

    Hoodie Allen brought the energy

by jamesmoconnor on 4/25/12Howard Theatre - Washington

It was non-stop energy the entire time. There were a few songs from his older stuff that I probably wouldn't have chosen if I were him, but overall he kept things going and the crowd was loving it. He finished the show off with his new single, "No Interruption," and I don't think he could have made a better choice. That song was made to be played live and the crowd responded accordingly.
