Watching Giselle by Cuban Classical Ballet dancers and dancers from other companies was such a wonderful experience. It will stay on my minds as something really beautiful and perfect
The principal ballerina still needs stronger arms. The principal dancer was better. The chorus needs more practice in order to attain better coordination of legs.
I saw Giselle some years ago after growing up watching Alicia Alonso dance it on VHS and I was not impressed. After attending Giselle danced by the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami I was once again taken back to my childhood witnessing greatness on the stage. BRAVO!
Cuban Classical Ballet gave an amazing rendition of Giselle. The dancers were so expressive and talented. Enjoyed the performance very much.

The Ballet was wonderful but it was hard to enjoyed due to freezing temperatures at Dade county auditorium Many complained to the manager that was there and she said she was going to fix temperature- it was close to impossible to be able to enjoy the wonderful performance- many people left after 1 st act
These dancers are extremely well trained. The foot work was precise and articulate. The dancers hit every pose with softness and yet clarity. What a lovely dance performance! And the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend seeing this dance company if you enjoy Classical Ballet.
The music for the dance was not clear This was not good
The show itself was great, all that wasnt interrupted by people arriving late being ushered in by staff. I purposely chose seats in the front row, in order to not have my view obstructed. I asked the usher at what point they close the doors and stop letting people in, i was told they dont. I asked for different seats that would be in front of the foot traffic since there were plenty emty, i was told no. There were simple solutions such as taking late people around the back, or having the wait until in betweent acts, but they didnt do that. Instead i got very unsympathetic answers to my issues. I only wish i could get a third of my money back, due to the third of the show that we missed because of incompetence. I also feel for the performers who worked so hard to prepare for the show, only for venue staff to ruin it for paying customers. 5 stars for the performance. 0 for the venue
A beautiful and exciting selection of movements from four of the truly great works from the classical dance canon! The soloists and troupe all danced with precision, lyricism and truth. I love to see performances of more recent dance works such as is typical of Miami City Ballet and other major dance troupes, but these jewels of the grand century of dance remain unsurpassed in their artistic beauty. The dedication by CCBM to this particular repertoire is truly a treasure within the South Florida arts scene.
