About

Citing influences like Panic! at the Disco and Slipknot, Crown the Empire are more than your average metalcore band. Their debut album for Rise Records, The Fallout, is as much about poppy choruses and electronic flourishes as chugging riffs and screaming. If anything comes through in a Crown the Empire concert it is an uncompromising drive to be the biggest band in the world. Their dual vocal attack meshes perfectly to connect them to the solid power of heavy metal and the soaring drama of the best pop, giving ticket-holders plenty of bang for their bucks.

After a spot on The Warped Tour, Crown the Empire accompanied Asking Alexandria on their headlining tour across America and the UK. With their much more mature approach to The Fallout, masterful re-recording of the Limitless EP and an announcement to release another album some time in 2014, they may climb the heights they claim to be aiming for.

Crown the Empire began in 2010 when "Brandon and Austin decided to start jamming together." Still in high school, they gathered a group of talented musicians around themselves in an attempt to put together a hard-hitting band with mainstream appeal. Their first EP, Limitless, was well received in up-to-the-moment metalcore circles, where their deft handling of electronic elements did not go unnoticed. Their debut LP, The Fallout, shed some of their metal elements and welcomed a second vocalist into the fold, and their undeniable drive and energy lit up The Van's Warped Tour. After a support slot with Asking Alexandria through the rest of 2013 they announced that they were going back to the studio to record a new album. So far the band has only congealed their unique musical vision, and good things are no doubt ahead for this young band.

Culture room is a great venue. Crown the Empire killed it. The openers were amazing as well and wound up finding two new bands to listen to. Drinks were mostly reasonably priced. Still comparatively expensive but not terrible.

    Melt your face off!

    by TerrBearT on 12/14/22

They were the opening act when I went to Knotfest this year in Irvine. These guys have a stage presence like you wouldn't belive. They are so talented that they passed around a literal foot long blunt to each other while playing some of the best metal music ive ever heard and they didnt miss a beat. They bring the energy. Please come back to So Cal!

Saw them in Austin with Slipknot and Ice Nine Kills, and they were one of the best openers I’ve seen. Wish their set was a bit longer though ‘cuz they were soooo good lol

We had Meet and Greet tickets before the show and the whole band was awesome!! They all took pictures of my Crown the Empire tattoo. The show was great. The small venue made it one of the best shows I've ever experienced. Cant wait to see them again!!

Came for D.R.U.G.S… Left With New Friends

by Embry on 6/28/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

Bought my ticket the moment they came on sale, I had way more fun than I ever expected to, and I’ve seen all of these bands before. Last time I saw D.R.U.G.S. live, I had VIP. This time, even though I was unable to afford the VIP package, when I stepped out for some fresh air with some friends I made at the last show (and left that same show with a invite to her wedding lol), we ran into Jona with his pjs on hand getting ready to go shower and he still took the time to say hello to us, even though I hadn’t paid the extra money for VIP this time. This band actually does what they do for their fans and because they love the music. The money to them is just a nice bonus.
