Enjoyed the game, MSG was brill, atmosphere was great!!
The game was really excellent! And Madison Square Garden is so easy to get in and out of. The snacks and beverages are really great, clean, quality products. The sound system is wonderful. We just really had a great time going to see our favorite college hockey team, Cornell University, win against Michigan! My only complaint was the group of yahoos who clearly don't get enough attention at home who were sitting behind us...the entire row of them gabbed through the whole game...then when something happened, they had no idea what was going on and then wouldn't shut up about it. Then, they brought out a wash board and a tambourine and tried to be as cool as the Cornell Pep Band. People....there is NO ONE AS COOL AS THE CORNELL PEP BAND. Geeeez...give it up!All in all, the seats were terrific.
Had a fantastic time at M.S.G. at The Frozen Apple! Friendly employees, concessions were plentiful and of great quality. It would have been nice if a Frozen Apple hockey puck was available for sale. I suspect that M.S.G. had no part of that decision. Thanks for a wnderful evening!
I've been to three of these now and it keeps getting better. There is nothing better than college hockey and this game never fails to disappoint. Great non stop action, high intensity play, and a great crowd. I miss college . . .
The hockey game was fun. I'm glad Cornell took ownership of the event this year.
Great event, except for the final score. Great to be back at the Garden for hockey again!
I have always enjoyed college hockey and this game was a fun event. The crowd wasn't huge but it was pleasant. I'm sure there are a lot of alums fro both schools in the area and it was a fun time. I took my eight year old son who just started playing hockey and he loved the seats, which for us were in row two. Lack of open vendors was a bit of an issue. I understand there was ot a big crowd but having only one Carvel stand open made me wait 10 minutes for ice cream, that I did not get until after I left the line as to not miss too much of the game. I returned later to no line , but missed about five minutes of the game, resulting in two goals missed.
Terrific way to round out a holiday weekend with the family. It's become a family tradition seeing Cornell play over Thanksgiving weekend in the NY/NJ area. So glad that it was in NJ this year!
I thought the Prudential Center did a good job of hosting a college hockey game. The only thing that could be better was if Colgate actually won. But it was a great second period.
