Music and Dancing was top notch

by N8andD on 9/24/12Devos Perfomance Hall - Grand Rapids

Everyone involved in the show was very talented. My finace loved the show and really enjoyed the dancing. This was a new experience for me as I had never been to a show with no lines and all dancing, but I did enjoy myself. Sinatra is a timeless talent.

Very enjoyable. My parents who are on their 70's had a blast listening to Frank Sinatra's music.

I was overwhelmed with the cast, they had boundless entergy. The music was wonderful as always.

    One to miss for sure!

    by 7698 on 4/22/12Hobby Center - Houston

Though the concept of the show sounded interesting, it ended up being nothing more than listening to Sinatra on CD and watching some wanna-be dancers bump and grind. We ended up leaving half way through when the dancing became more pornography than dancing. Definitely one to miss.

    Overrated

by Anonymous on 4/18/12Hobby Center - Houston

Overpriced for a less than 90 minute show. Dancing was sub par, obvious flubs thruought. So boring I watched the drummer in the band who did the whole show without music and without recognition.

    Asian dancer was excellent.

Unusual and exciting. Would love to see it again. I wish the program would write the plot of the show.

Great Way to Showcase Sinatra Music

by zzxxc on 4/17/12Hobby Center - Houston

Love the format of all dance with a thread of story lines. Dancers are fantastic, and the dancing is challenging. Despite my thought that Sinatra songs might be too slow, the numbers were almost all up-tempo. It's not as good as Movin' Out which has more than a thread of a story line and quite a variety in the music, but it's very good.

    Not What I Expected

    by Dez47 on 4/17/12Hobby Center - Houston

I attend a lot of musicals but was not at all familiar with this show, except that it featured Frank Sinatra's music. I'm used to musicals that have acting, singing, dancing, and of course, music. There was no dialogue, and essentially, this show was really more like a dance revue. Don't get me wrong, the dancers were excellent and the live band on stage was really one of the premiere groups I've heard in awhile, but I did expect a more cohesive story (rather than vignettes) and some kind of dialogue. I would not have called this a musical but instead, a revue. As the other attendees noted, there are some scenes that are certainly a bit past PG-13. The show is presented without an intermission, but is only a little bit past an hour.

Come Fly Away did not take us away....

    by Pamcakes1954 on 4/17/12Hobby Center - Houston

The music was amazing. The orchestra playing with Frank Sinatra's voice was perfect...but the dancing left something to be desired. Often the dancers were not together and it was obvious. I am sure they are very talented but maybe just off the afternoon we were there. And they seemed to be missing some of the dancers according to the program. I am beginning to wonder if the matinees are not the shows to go to...even though tickets are still expensive the cast seems to be different and not as good as the evening shows. We had expected something different...not just dancing to Sinatra's music.

    Nothing worked

by MCReview on 4/17/12Hobby Center - Houston

Dancers were poor and mistake prone. Choreography had no connection with the music. Costumes were cheap. Closed my eyes and listened to Sinatra.
