    A Pleasant Evening

by Koncert Kid on 4/11/24Chevalier Theatre - Medford

Colin Hay sounded great! A wonderful evening of music and stories. The seats at the theater were narrow and unyielding, but some cushions were provided! There is a charm to the Chevalier Theatre. I was pleased to see vinyl record albums included at the merchandise table, and I bought one. #vinylrules

Colin Hay Is Well Worth Seeing

by TheCybrarian on 4/9/24Capital One Hall - Tysons

Colin Hay sounded great and was very funny. Good music and good stories! He sprinkled a few Men at Work songs into the set, but even though I wasn't as familiar with his solo music, I really enjoyed the show.

    A master storyteller/showman who hasn’t lost a step

by KFB on 4/9/24Chevalier Theatre - Medford

First off, the Chevalier Theatre has a charm and feel as if you’ve stepped back in time, in all the right ways. Acoustically and visually this was a tremendous venue to see Colin Hay weave his musical tale in. Mr Hay may look a bit weathered but like a tested sea captain he has become more confident and savvy in his later years. His voice was almost too crisp and clear to believe it was live and not Memorex. He carefully maneuvered from story to song with genuine care, wit and humor. The crowd was a tad bit older and with their tattered prostrates, they got up to use the bathroom a little too often for my liking but besides that this show was impeccable. I hope to see Mr Hay again as trips like this one leave you feeling enriched from the music, the stories and a world that has since gone away that still resonates positivity and coolness. If I get to see him at the Chavlier, even better. A+++

    Good stories, Great songs!

    by RockMom2319 on 4/9/24Chevalier Theatre - Medford

Colin Hay is an amazing song writer and story teller. I really enjoyed listening to old favorite songs and soon to be new favorite songs. It is a unique experience to see the evolution of an artist. I hope to see Colin Hay again at another historic theater. Also, we loved seeing Chris Trapper, local song writer and performer. His opening set was just what we needed to start our fun night out. Please continue to support local musicians.

    A singular talent

by Nguy on 4/9/24Chevalier Theatre - Medford

For an Artist who has been doing this for well over 40 years, he sounds amazing, to the point it was genuinely surprising. He had a good amount of entertaining banter and storytelling in between songs, but I left feeling like it was a great show. If I can do anything as well as he performs on stage when I'm his age, I'd be surprised.

    Colin Hay still got it

    by crandall33 on 4/9/24Chevalier Theatre - Medford

An outstanding story teller and beyond brilliant musician Colin Hay still brings it. A true entertainer he takes you on a journey for a couple of hours and let you into snippet's of his life. In a world full of people who take themselves far too seriously it is refreshing to have someone who is not afraid to have a laugh at himself his music and his life. This is a man who has perspective and loves what he does and it shines through. See you next time when you are in town Mr. Hay.
