The Clearwater Threshers are a Minor League Baseball team that plays in the Florida State League and are the Single-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The team is located in Clearwater, Florida, and their team colors are navy blue, red, and white. They are known as the Threshers -- a type of shark known for its long tail fin. The team adopted the Threshers as their name in 2004 when they moved to their new stadium.

BayCare Ballpark, previously known as Spectrum Field and Bright House Networks Field, is the home stadium of the Clearwater Threshers. The stadium opened in 2004 and has a seating capacity of 8,500 baseball fans. The stadium is also home to the Carpenter Complex, the Phillies' minor league training facility. Spectrum Field has hosted various baseball events outside of Threshers games, such as the Florida State League All-Star Game and MLB spring training games.

In 2007, they won the Florida State League Championship Series, earning them the title of MLB.com's Class A Advanced Team of the Year. Threshers fans set a single-game attendance record in 2019 with 10,055 watching their team take on the Fort Myers Miracle.
