    A taste of the Holidays

by 1Bestemor on 12/12/10Fitzgerald Theater - St Paul

This is the first time I purchased tickets online. We were to celebrate my daughters 38th Birthday. Her companion and she and myself headed off to unknown territory. After a bit of being lost we found the theater, marvelously got parking on the street and one block walk to the theater. It reminder me of my home town theater. First the MC Steve whose voice I have heard for the 4 years I've lived in MN. Putting a face to the voice and seeing the personality was great. The choir started with several Norwegian Christmas Carols and we nearly cried as we are NOrwegian and knew them all. The entire program was marvelous and then ending with the Hallelujah Chorus. Nothing could have been any better. I am a singer and right now without voice so I could not even sing. Very hard for someone who loves to sing be a part of the entire program with the sing a alongs. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience and start of Christmas.

A Taste of the Holidays was wonderful!!!

by Anonymous on 12/12/10Fitzgerald Theater - St Paul

This event was absolutely wonderful! Every performer would be worth seeing by themselves; put them all together and you have an amazing show. Steve Staruch was a perfect host, both choral groups were beautiful, Hiram Titus was inspiring, The Copper Street Brass Quintet was fantastic (probably my favorite of the evening), the Vecchione/Erdahl Duo were a lot of fun, and the "house band" - the Dolce Wind Quintet were lovely. Even though the event went longer than expected and it was held on the eve of a blizzard, I would do it all over again! Loved it!!
