I had a terrific time . The performances were great. Masters of ceremony, Ken Spider_Web,Vaughn Harper was very entertaining. I can't wait for the next time Newark Symphony Hall have another simular show or better. I told as many friends and relatives who had an ear, about the show.
I purchased front row seats in the mezz section AA. So on the day of the show I was very excited there would be no obstruction of view due to my height and I was actually pumped up for a very good show. When I arrived I was told that the mezz section was closed off and my party would be upgraded to better seats, well to make a long story short --- bad seats my view was somewhat obstructed and the sound system was lousy. I really wanted my money back, my husband didn't want to make a scene so we stayed but never again. Even If I had better seats the sound system was lousy, the artists could only do but so much at the Newark Symphony Hall which is now a has been. This place should not have been an option for this caliber of show. I would recommend this show to someone but at a different location.
The show was absolutely amazing. All the groups were wonderful. The MC's were great also. This is definitely a "must see event".
This show was the best of it's kind that I saw in a very long time. All of the artist were excellant. And the crowd was really partying and enjoying the night. My husband and I Loved it!!!
