This band is excellent. I've been trying to see them over 20 years and after 2020 they had to cancel 2 times. I thought they wouldnt been coming back for the very last tour but they did and I got tickets. The venue was beautiful too.
The music was messy and melodic with perfect harmonies, a beautiful Interplay between Irish Melodie’s and folk rock instruments.
Their voices pure and strong, their musical skill beyond compare. Tight and strong throughout! Great venue, great acoustics, and great lighting. My first and I'm thinking only time I will see Clannad in concert, but well worth it! I've been a fan of theirs for over 30 years. I bought my tickets pre-Covid and had been waiting three long years for this. A great evening! Wish they weren't retiring. Don't see why they would. They were superb!
Excellent music and song. Wonderful venue. What a combination!
Because of covid we had to wait three years to see Clannad. It's been a bucket list item since I discovered the band after hearing them when they did music for Showtime's series Robin Hood in the 80's. This was their farewell tour. Worth the wait!
Clannad live was as good as Clannad recorded. Maire's voice was beautiful. The music was ethereal and pure magic when combined with the talents of her brothers, her two children, and Ged. I am sad this is farewell (hopefully only in this iteration) but so blessed to have been able to experience Clannsd live.
A perfectly selected back catalogue of their beautiful, moving music. With stories and humour mixed in, made it a wonderful live performance.
Loved the show, disappointed with the venue. Clannad was amazing! The palace of fine arts in SF however was hot and humid. So uncomfortable. Only stayed because Clannad was great and I have always wanted to see them live.
Clannad was as wonderful & as magical to hear live & in person than I ever expected! The sound system amplified Moya's voice so she sounded so hauntingly ethereal & enchanting, especially when she sang "I Will Find You"Pol & Ciaran gave pleasing harmonies with Moya too. I also loved their version of "Dulaman"and the song that Moya sang in Gaelic while she played on the harp, so melodiously. I wish I could remember the title but it pulled my heart strings. Wish it wasn't their last tour but so happy thst I was able to finally see and hear them in person!
