Cirque Shanghai: Dragon’s Thunder” is a spectacle for audiences of all ages, featuring performers direct from China who are leaders in their craft of tumbling, juggling, balancing and more. This year’s production features an incredible line up of awe-inspiring acts, including “The Chinese Flex Bar,” the heart stopping “Gravity Swings,” and the awesome sounds of the traditional Chinese “Dragon Drums.” Back from last year’s show is the fate tempting “Wheel of Destiny,” and China’s finest daredevil motorcycle troupe, “Imperial Thunder,” returns with not two, not four, but five motorcyclists riding at break-neck speeds within a steel globe.

by sandyha on 9/14/14Pepsi Skyline Stage At Navy Pier - Chicagothe show was outstanding....all the performers were amazing, especially the 2 guys on the big wheels and the FIVE people in the "motorcycle" ball! we had a great time and the venue was very comfortable. only issue i had was the ordering. i wanted to order the navy pier package but couldn't figure out how to get all the tickets plus specific times for the boat tour on the lake. it was also slightly difficult to find HOW to get into the tent even though it is outdoors d/t the construction going on.

by Tannerman on 9/4/14Pepsi Skyline Stage At Navy Pier - ChicagoMost of the acts in the Cirque Shanghai displayed difficult acrobatic moves that were done with precision from floor exercises to pyramids to the motorbike globe act. Some were more show than actual acrobatics as they were telling a story of Chinese warriors and how they used expressions and movements to display their courage.
