    Circus Oz

by moj3 on 3/5/13Elliott Hall of Music - West Lafayette

Not a bad act; the gymnastics were incredible, but a little over priced. This is not Cirque de Soleil or anything, so try not to compare! The athletes are good, but a bit better choreography would go a long way. Also, the venue probably wasn't as good as it could have been for them at Purdue University.

Circus Oz definitely worth the price of admission.

I loved Circus Oz, very talent people, comedic, thrilling, was very skeptical at going, bought this as a gift for my wife, wasn't interested at all until I got there, would go back in time and slap myself for doubting what was in store.

Circus Oz had its moments, but it was puerile

by AndySerrano on 2/12/13Royce Hall - UCLA - Los Angeles

Circus Oz had its moments, but overall it was puerile. Some of the acrobatics were wonderful and very well-done. However, the magic act, the attempts at comedy were unintelligible and childish. My wife and I got up and left during the first intermission.

Very entertaining and good for kids

by Jandarella on 2/12/13Royce Hall - UCLA - Los Angeles

This was a great show - clever acts and awesome crowd interaction, and I love the lack of animals in a "circus". Very good for kids - took my 10 yr old niece and she loved it! Fanstastic acrobatics, juggling and awesome to see and hear the live music on stage at same time. Only thing I would fault was the "magic" performance - it was bumbling and "un-magic" - seemed like a waste of time. I think they could come up with other better stuff (more tumbling, roller blade dancing etc.) rather than this as it detracted from the overall show. Also, spoken parts need to be clearer, or turn up the mics...

Circus Oz Rocked and Rolled us

by PeterJaz on 2/11/13Royce Hall - UCLA - Los Angeles

I went with my 9 yo daughter and we weren't the only parent/children combo in attendance. The show was great. Very lively and fun. The performers were all multi-talented in that they did acrobatics, played music, danced and more. It was a lot of fun for all age groups and it was very funny as well. It was as big and glitzy as a Cirque du Soleil show and that's part of the charm. It's like a bunch of very talented friends got together and decided to put a show together. The set had a construction theme to it which was also fun since that's my business. There was an intermission exactly when needed. My daughter and I were quoting lines as we left.

    We left at intermission

by Regular1 on 2/11/13Royce Hall - UCLA - Los Angeles

It was OK, nothing special, not the caliber I was expecting from the amount of advertising done for it. It was more of a kids show, not anywhere near the quality of a Circ d solei. More like a clown show on TV. They were entertaining and earnest, just not up to par with what I was expecting.

A Smashing Good Time Flying BEyond Expectations!

by brandstormer on 2/10/13Royce Hall - UCLA - Los Angeles

We LOVED Circus Oz. A Talented group of young exciting, effervescent performers who meld the best aspects of STOMP with an urban twist on circus. I am forever now a fan!
