Circle of Sisters Tickets

I was so looking forward to going to this show only to be left highly disappointed. The only act I enjoyed was Avant. He gave a great show. They just should have extended his time to fill in for Tamar Braxton who cancelled due to illness. I was very disappointed being I paid to mainly see her. She was replaced with Jaheim who only sang about two songs but grew frustrated with the sound system. He left the stage without even a Thank You or Goodbye. I like him as an Artist but they had him sounding crazy. There was alot of time being killed with just a dj playing music and radio personalities. Everything seemed very unorganized. I left early after Chaka Kahn left the stage briefly due to being overheated. When she came back she screamed so much she gave me a headache. This show was a was a huge waste of my money and second row seats.

I was a little disappointed because I really wanted to see tamar Braxton and she was a no show. jahiem was ok,but the he had some technical issues.

I had an awesome time with my BFF seeing the Queen of Funk for the 1st time. She was classy, energetic, and man oh man, that woman sangggg!!!

Avante was great and so Was Chaka Khan. My main reason for attending the concert was to See Tamar Braxton who was sick and was a no show. WBLS thought throwing Jaheim in would satisfy fans. Not in the least. My daughter who is a huge Tamar fan didnt even know who he was. Fans need free tickets to see her in November !!! I paid great seats to see people i wouldn't usual pay to see.

Very disappointed in the event. For starters, Tamar Braxton was a "no-show". Avante who was great was rushed off the stage. Jaheim would have been wonderful but the sound system was a mess. He finally sang his latest hit a Capella and that is what saved his performance. Chaka Khan was great but I don't know why she threw shade on Tamar by asking the audience, "Where's Tamar? which she quickly answered her own question by stating, "probably somewhere dancing with the stars" or something to that affect. I had wonderful seats that would have been better appreciated if the show was as wonderful. Shaila mentioned that they would be bringing Tamar back to New York which was meaningless to me because it's not like we are going to get free tickets to make up for paying to see her and not seeing her.

We had perfect seats! The Dr. was in the house, yasssss. Avant looked sooo Darn Good! Mmmmm...he did the Damn thing! Deja and The Quake brought down the house with distracting moves and entertainment. Then.....it was time for Tamar to appear... (side-eyed) hear comes Deja with devastating news.... MY GIRL TAMAR WAS NOT HERE! WHHAAAT!? My heart fell into my lap. I got teary eyed and my husband said don't cry its gonna be ok. Then I heard the words Buuttt, Butttt, from Deja and she said she has a little taste to Christmas in the city.. when she said Jaheim !!!!! ohhhh it was on and poppin... I lost my mind.. BEATING UP MY HUSBAND... LOL SCREAMING ... OMG JAHEIM ! YESSS GOD! HE WAS JUST AWESOME! LOOKING LIKE RAY CHARLES AND SINGING LIKE MARVIN GAYE.! I WILL BE AT THE CHRISTMAS SHOW!!!! Chaka was just as beautiful as a ray of sun.. glowing and still moving like the 70's, she has not lost a Dam thing... but a little WEIGHT! (WINK!!) OVERALL IS WAS GOOD, BUT MY HEART BELONGS TO TAMAR! I AM HER #1 TAMARITIAN FAN!! ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME KNOWS HER!!!!

Avant was good, forgot about some the songs he made; the WBLS hosts were awesome especially Deja Vu and Earthquake; Jaheim is always good just had some sound problems, really wanted to see Tamar Braxton but praying that she feels better soon; Chaka Khan began ok but after the first song she made a slick remark about Tamar not being there stating that "Tamar is now dancing behind bars", why all the shade towards Tamar, that really turned me off and I left the show after that (and so did some other Tamar fans) did not even stay to see the rest of Chaka's performance.

Avant was great! Very disappointed in Tamar...will still attend next years circle of sisters concert....Had a great time

This wasn't my favorite. We paid to see Tamar and she was a no show! Jaheim was great but clearly sound check was an issue to the point where he went acapella. Chaka was awesome, but she always is. Overall, I wasn't impressed. Too many noticeable mishaps that should've been addressed before the curtains went up.

Since this was my first Circle of Sisters concert I was very excited however if this was any inkling of how things usually go this will be my last. The whole event seemed unorganized, the sound wasn't working properly and at the last minute we were informed that Tamar Braxton was not performing. The whole night seemed more about wbls radio personalities filling empty space (with a hint of Jaheim as a filler thrown in) rather than a good r&b concert. Last but not least Chaka Khan...they say if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. If I could've gotten a refund I certainly would've done so.
