Cinderella was simply magical!
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
My friends and I, including my brother, went to see Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella and we were on Cloud 9 the entire time! It was our one big event we decided to do together to celebrate the end of the school year, and we were so blessed to find tickets within our price range (which for college students, is rather low). We sat in "limited view" seats and were a bit nervous that the show wouldn't be as great from those seats (while I would like more centered seats next time, it was still amazing from where we sat). I was even skeptical that I would even really like the performance because I'm a Disney girl, and I already love Disney's version of Cinderella. WOW, each of us, including my even more skeptical brother, were blown away!! From start to finish, we loved every second! When it was over, my friends and I sang all the way back to the college! The theatre itself was breath-taking. The actors were incredible and easy to fall in love with, (we watched the performance starring Tatyana Lubov and Louis Griffin) and we would have loved to have met them. I didn't know the story as told by Rodgers and Hammerstein so I was genuinely surprised at a few different parts, and was delighted to watch the story unfold before my eyes. If you love fairy tales and excellent story-telling, you will love this heart-warming and delightful performance!

Cinderella has taken a political turn, but it’s so lovely and important. I adored it.

Social Justice Warrior Cinderella
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
A beautiful story ruined by injecting political correctness, feminism, and modern day socialism! The classic elements wonderful, the forced contemporary relevance laughable.

Cinderella was different but not in a good way
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
I am recommending, but with a Warning Label (so that I can be politically correct). It is not the same story that my generation of Cinderella Fans grew up with and that it a bit disturbing. Is nothing sacred anymore? Have we become a society that must water down every storyline? Disappointing changes to all the main characters. Trying to be too politically correct and next thing you know the Rabbit and the Fox Character will not longer be able to become the Carriage Drivers because ASPCA says it's cruel to make four-legged animals use only 2 of their legs to bring Cinderella to the ball. Shame on the production company that cowered to Activist

Cinderella was very entertaining!
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
The singing, dancing, and props were amazing! How did they manage to change Cinderella's dress that quick?? Adults and children alike will love this one and the spin on the original story. Ladies, just be quick to get in line for the bathrooms at intermission! This theater could use a few more ladies' stalls.

Don't mess with the original!

The singing, acting, and sets were great. The revised storyline was just plain awful!

Wasn’t happy with the changes
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
Overall good show, but I wasn’t Too Happy about The changes. Also, the show didn’t stand out. I thought it would be better than it was. For kids it was great.

It's almost a Cinderella story
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
It was OK. This music and singing was good, The updated storyline seem contrived and the humor labored. It was like they took parts of a few different stories and tried blending them together. It really didn't work for me.

Simply the best!
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
This was the first musical I've seen in many years. My husband and I really enjoyed how Cinderella could change her outfits so fast! We got front row seats, and was still able to see everything on stage. I would recommend this musical, and this theatre to anyone.

Wasn't Terrible, Was Just Expecting Something Diff
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
Since Cinderella was my favorite Princess, i was extremely excited to see the show. The beginning of the play wasn't what i was expecting with the way they made the prince seem and a few new characters. However i kept an open mind and the story line did come together more towards the end. I've seen a few plays and it wasn't terrible by any means, but it just didn't have that WOW factor for me.
