Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
Cinderella was a really great event to partake in with my 5 year old. It was long enough to feel as though you were getting your money's worth, yet short enough to keep my daughter engaged without getting bored! Definitely a must see for anyone with young daughters!

super cute!
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
Show was sooo cute. All of my neices (9yrs-4yrs) loved it. It was smart w/ some modern tweaks, but stayed true to the original core of the story. Had the adults and children laughing.

Cinderella was truly a fairy tale come true!
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
My girls (2 1/2 & 5 1/2) were awestruck through the entire play. The ease of parking @ water tower place and walking right in was great. The cast was great & even played along with a little girl who could not possibly contain her enthusiasum. I will definitely return for another performance.

Emerald City always does a nice job. Saw Pinkalicious last year. It is nice to have the performers pose for pictures afterwards with the kids. I look forward to the next play.

Cinderella was nothing like I though it would be.
Water Tower Theater - Chicago
Jokes too old, my niece was 5. Costumes could have been more like the movie the kids watch. I understand it was a budget film. Singing was very good but songs had nothing relate to their dvd movie. I did not expect it to be exact. Too Modern saw a lot of small girls not being able to sit still. The car should have been a carriage, you made a care the carriage could not have been that much more and the children would have loved it. I will probably not go to this theater again.

Cinderella was forgettable!
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
The play was very elementary at it's best. Definately not worth the cost of the tickets much less the very expensive beverages. The pop (maybe an 8 oz glass) was $3.00, a bag of pretzels that cost .59 cents in the store $3.00. A very small bag of popcorn (I'm talking maybe 2 cups) was $3.00. We had front row seats so could see everything very clearly. The costumes were very cheap, the set was very cheap, just not what we expected for the price that we paid.

This was a wonderful play for little girls. My daughter was picked from the stage to participate in the play for a minute, she loved it! The little girls were able to get the actors autographs, and take pictures with them after the play. It was a nice mommy and daughter day for both of us. I definilty recommend it.

Cinderella
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
We had fun with this play after a few girls got over the initial reaction to the Stepsisters. One was quite monsterous with some of her facial expressions and exaggerated eye make-up. However, the girls laughed and smiled. It was especially exciting when the prince and the valet made their way through our aisle during the play, and even stopped to chat with one of our girls. This is our second show from Emerald City; first Pinkalicious and now Cinderella. I am grateful for the opportunity they provide to expose children to the fabulous world of live theater.

Cinderella was cleverly done!
Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago
The show was well done, kept the interests of the young children attending. I took my niece who is rather rambunctious. She was able to sit quietly through almost the entire show. Good job casting the step sisters! they were hysterical.
The holidays have arrived, and with them the anticipated Royal Ball! Cinderella's cruel Stepmother and Stepsisters are plotting to win the heart of The Prince, but a spunky and barefoot servant girl may just become the belle of the ball. This swashbuckling Cinderella just needs a little help from her Fairy Godmother and one ratty Footman to find her happy ending. Emerald City's adaptation of this favorite fairy tale is a musical holiday wish come true.
Cinderella is best suited for ages 3-10.
