Felt like I was drinking at Big Lots

by Joelay on 2/7/12Cintas Center - Cincinnati

I love the Cintas Center and am a Xavier season ticket holder. However, the low crowds, quiet concourses, and lack of laugh/cheers made it seem dimly lit and empty. I enjoyed Josh Sneed and the beer was great (though the pourers weren't always knowledgable). Still, this pales in comparison to the summer event in amount of comedians and good times.

    good time

by vrobinson on 2/6/12Cintas Center - Cincinnati

I had a good time at the event, but thought it was a bit pricey. The variety of beer choices was great, but it would have been good to have some pretzels at the tables to clear palet between beers... The comedians were good, but REALLY thought that there would be more than two. The Brew Ha Ha over the summer was much more affordable, with various beer choices, plus MANY comedians to see. Overall, a fun time, and glad I went to support the cause - and a great venue....just wanted a bit more comedy !

    Greg Hahn stand up

by Auntlee on 2/6/12Cintas Center - Cincinnati

My husband and I enjoy stand up and spend time watching comics on television. We've seen Greg Hahn on tv more than once and think he is incredible!!! He most certainly dd not disappoint. Has a great, no foul language show!!!!!!!!!! Our son is a comic. He went to school at Chicago's Improv Olympics. He is now looking for work in Chicago to get back there to go to Second City. As you can see, our motivation was the comedy. After we were there we discovered it was a beer festival of sorts so we tasted a coconut and chocolate beer which was interesting. We also really liked Josh Sneed, the opening act.

    great beer

    by LoveBeer37 on 2/6/12Cintas Center - Cincinnati

Overall the event was outstanding, however, there were some disappointments because some really great beers were advertised but then proved to be unavailable.

Headliners were great. Some of the up and comers were good but they had a tough room due to beer and conversations and seating all in one place. Volunteers were great, beer selection was awesome. Food options were horrible. Really should have made it clear that you needed to eat before the event because there would be very limited food options. Not even the normal options that would be open for a game were available.
