I have been coming to the races for 5+ years in the spring and fall. This was the first I was lucky enough to get tickets in the Rose room. Well worth the money. The foods was really good and the view of the track was good. Did not have to worry about the environment because we were indoors. Of course getting them at Derby time would be near impossible, but I will be back again in the fall in the Rose room.
Saw great racing with great friends, and had a great time. Can't wait for next year

Attended Churchill Downs for The Clark Handicap. Table in the 4th floor terrace. Disappointed in the lack of variety on the buffet. However, it was my first time in the lower priced section. The food items available were very tasty. Service personnel were great.
Food was good. Service was excellent! We were lucky to sit with some good people. Overall, a great time and well worth the money!
On a scale of 1-10 the food was a 2.5. The dressing were croutons with chicken broth poured over it. The ham didn't taste good and it didn't look appetizing. The green beans looked as if they were from a can with cream of mushroom poured over it. The tickets have Row and Seat numbers so my wife and I we were surprised that we had to be seated at a table with complete strangers for Thanksgiving. The tables should only be rented to a of 8, not seats sold individually. Totally awkward situation. The races were fun and the service was great.
Food was really great but service was terrible. Our waiter first said they were out of champagne, not millionaires row standards and we also found it not to be true when we ordered drinks directly from the bar because the waiter never returned for hours the rest of the day. We took the water pitcher ourselves to be refilled twice for the table. Have been enjoying thanksgiving at the track for years and understand itâs a busy time but miss the days when we had experienced, longtime servers. Guess itâs a sign of the times.
We had a great time. The food was good and the facilities are beautiful.
Clearly, an enjoyable day. Great food and no cooking or cleanup. Once you go you will always go!
