It was fun watching the old gals having some fun. Chubby still doing his thing. Voice good at 80 years. He called people on stage and put them in spotlight for a bit on the Twist People were making the most of their time.. It was a birthday gift for lady in front of us and her joy was contagious. She got her moment...Then I won $ on the way out. FUN NIGHT
The show was excellent. Chubby never took a break. He looked great and involved the packed audience. I was impressed
Chubby Checker singing was as strong as when he was a teenager.He looks great and does kind of a micro dance of the twist with the music because he’s 81! It was entertaining and wise on his part!The band was fantastic!I especially like his sax player who did a lot more than the honking riffs of the 50s era.He was very melodic with tasteful jazzy phrases fit right in with the rock and roll.There was a lot of audience participation and quite a few grandmother looking twisters that knew how to shake it! Lot’s of fun and well worth it!
What a terrific show. Chubby interacted with the audience, gave a wonderful performance, had some of the audience on stage and I'm still talking about it. He even did the twist too. I would definitely go again.
Chubby is awesome. He danced twist with me. It was the most wonderful show I ever had.
Chubby Checker still has 'IT'. Amazing voice. Interacted with audience. We danced throughout the show. We had a great time and will def see him again.
Wow. For 81 years old Chubby put on an excellent performance I never stopped clapping and Dancing.
One of the best concerts ever. I first saw him in 1963. After all these years he can still shake it. Still has a good voice and really enjoys what he does. Always smiling. His band is absolutely great. He is truly a national treasure. Twist On.
The interaction with the audience was wonderful. He was not hesitant about going into the audience & not just performing on stage
Was a wonderful concert! Chubby Checker looked great and was still moving really well for his age! Great selection of songs including his hits and a few by Elvis, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, etc... Overall just a fabulous time and I would definitely recommend to anyone. There were actually quite a few younger audience members too so it's nice to see that they have taken interest in the songs/music of past generations.
