Disappointed

I have seen the Celts 4-5 times and they are excellent musicians and a great way to ring in the holiday season đ
Overall a great experience, love Celtic music. Along with the musicianship of the band, impeccable..
Really good traditional Irish music and Christmas songs. Excellent musicians from Dublin. Unique instruments including "Electric Bagpipes". Just enough Irish step dancing. Having seen them at Penn's Peak was perfect. A great venue with excellent sound and sightlines. I definitely recommend seeing "Christmas with the Celts"!
Absolutely great show. Lots of fun especially at Christmas. Will definitely go to see them again if they come back to Penns Peak.
This was a Christmas show and the dancers were dressed in the same black outfits all night. Except for the amazing female singer /violinist no one was dressed for a show. They looked like they were dressed for jamming. The musical talent was phenomenal though. The young dancers sometimes seemed confused about their dancing parts. It was only $28 so it was ok.
Just a heads up that the parking can be a bit challenging and you may have to walk a bit, so be sure to leave plenty of time. Entrance was easy and quick and the staff were friendly. They have a restaurant up front that you can eat at before the event, and they have a decent bar by the concert venue as well. The venue is set up a little differently with it basically being split in half down the middle. The sound system is excellent, but the view can be blocked, especially if you are short. We sat toward the back, which is elevated, and could see fairly well, but the seats are on a rail and the other patrons in our row were rocking the seats back and forth so much that I started feeling queasy. We moved a couple rows forward, which was our mistake, as the floor was not as elevated so we could no longer see. The performers were great, but we ended up leaving about halfway through. If we went to this venue again, I would only get seats very close to the front.
I took my wife as an early Christmas present. We've been to the Ludlow Garage a few times before and always enjoyed the experience. We ate at the restaurant before the show. The food was fantastic. The manager and entire staff went out of their way to provide exceptional service. They have a custom that if the kitchen staff did a good job you can "buy them a round". They did and we did. We had great seats a few rows from the stage. The Celts put on one hell of a show! There was something for everyone, from Christmas standards, original music and even Irish dancers. The band oozed personality and made everyone feel right at home. All in all, it was a perfect evening.
Awesome concert! The musicians and dancers were superb! A very enjoyable evening!
The sound balance was off. Most of the time the bass drowned out the lyrics. Clapping, initiated almost at the start, got old and tiresome. The concert did not allow time for the audience enthusiasm to build. Light cues were off. At one point, the female lead started her song in the dark. At the end, the house lights were up before the dancers and musicians had left the stage. Awkward and left no chance for an encore. Or was that intentional? It would have been entertaining to have had the modern Christmas songs performed with a Gaelic twist instead of being just one more American rendition. Some of the Neil Diamond-esque performance moves were outdated and out of place for someone getting a little long in the tooth.
