Left 30 minutes after intermission. Antonio was very good, Beatriz was ok, but on tooo long, she didn't want to quit. Young people on floor dancing were hard to see due to swirling lights only. I bet their performance was good.-, but hard to see. To bad people were allowed to continue to make cell phone calls,and take pictures from their cell phones. Their screns made for poor light back drop.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed attending the Mariachi Festival and plan on attending every year.
My friend and I had a wonderful time. The music, and mariachi groups were awesome. We look forward to going every year. There is nothing else like it. However we were very upset to find out that it was to be the last Mariachi Christmas Festival. Please bring it back!
Very good music,dancing, and costumes.To bad we didn/t know it was all in Spanish. Not kowning the language took away from the event. We thought it was a Cristmas show and music.
We were extremely disappointed this year. The " two " groups that played seemed to last forever. it was so loud we actually had to leave some time after the intermission. The worst part is when they decided to promote a political agenda ! This is supposed to be a musical Christmas show ! I didn't buy four $ 75 tickets to listen to that ! Never again !!!!
Loved it, we wish the exact same artists and mariachis would be here next year for another amazing performance!!!!!
We really enjoyed the 2011 Mariachi Festival this weekend. We are very sad this tradition will no longer continue. I strongly encourage to reconsider your decision and continue with this annual celebration.
The performers were awesome-so sorry this was the last year Elias Entertainment is ding this, hopefuly someone else will continue bringing a Mariachi Festival at Christmas time here.
i have gone to two different years and both years were great they played different songs and the mariachi always had great twists to the well known classic songs. I hope that they keep this wonderful festival coming to Phoenix. I look forward to seeing it again.
It was very nice. Music was just great and the Mariachi groups very professional. SOrry that Antonio Aguilar was feeling a little under the weather but he still put on a great performance. THis was my first time to see Beatriz Adriana and I did enjoy her performance also. I have only heard her music on cd's and the radio before. It is so sad tosee such a great event come to an end.
