Chris Tomlin is a singer and songwriter in the Christian music industry, best known for huge hits like "How Great Is Our God" and "Indescribable." His live performances are treated like one big worship time, and fans can expect clear vocals, a strong faith-based message, and a full band accompaniment. Tomlin's tours include the 2018 Worship Night in America Tour, the 2017 Chris Tomlin Christmas Tour, the 2007 How Great Is Our God Tour, the 2010 Hello Tomlin Tour, the All Things New Tour and various tours with Passion Conferences. Some of his biggest accomplishments have been winning a Grammy for the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for And If Our God Is For Us... in 2012 and dozens of nominations and wins at the GMA Dove Awards. Tomlin also won Top Christian Artist and Top Christian Song at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011.

Chris Tomlin Background

Chris Tomlin was born the town of Grand Saline, Texas, on May 4, 1972. He was the oldest of three boys, and his father was the first person to introduce him to music when he gave him his first guitar. Tomlin started writing his own worship music at the young age of 14. He went to college at Texas A&M University to study physical therapy but continued to work as a worship leader at area youth conferences. In 1997, pastor and motivation speaker Louie Giglio asked Tomlin to work with Passion Conferences -- a Christian organization targeted at young adults -- and that's where his Christian music career really began. His first solo album was released in 2001, and he has had several songs hit the top of the Christian Copyright Licensing International charts.     A great concert.

    I looked around and realized all these people will be with me in heaven. Chris Tomlin was just fantastic. Loved hearing the songs live after hearing those same songs on the Sirius radio.

    He was Awesome!

    Chris Tomlin was amazing! But a warning... Eat before you go! Way too expensive for not so good food. The hot dog, burger & 2 pretzels cost more than the concert tickets!!! Also, if you leave your seats for any reason, take your drinks/water bottles with you. They are expensive as gold $$$ & we (4 of us) came back to our seats with someone sitting in them & took our drinks!! So, that was about $32 worth of soda & water. We were parched because we refused to spend that kind of $$ again!

    The Chris Tomlin concert was amazing. I would love to go see him again if he comes back. He is an awesome performer and is very engaging with the crowd. The only down side was that I felt the Giant Center, where the concert was held, charged a ridiculous amount for parking. I paid more to park than I did for my ticket.

    Amazing Night of Incredible Worship

    Chris Tomlin is absolutely amazing!! This was my first year of doing a bunch of Christian concerts and of all the ones I've seen, his was by far my favorite. Pure worship!! His voice is amazing, so clear and strong. They also properly leveraged the music volume to not drown him out which I've noticed at other concerts. Nice stage set up as well. They were there to give the Glory to God and boy, did they!

    The whole experience was amazing,the venue was easy to get to and get in,good flow of people not too crowded .The concert was just so beautiful so much talent displayed with chris voice plus the musicians.Loved every minute!!

    One of the best concerts ever!!

    Chris Tomlin is one of my favorite artists !!! This concert touched my heart deeply. My children were so excited. Especially when Cain came out. My 9 year old daughter is their biggest fan. The only thing I wish would have happened is a meet and greet after the concert. She was sad she didn’t meet them.
