Chi-Town Spring All-Star Comedy Jam Tickets

Half the comedians were funny & half of tthem weren't. The host was the funniest person of them all.

T.P. Hearne unfortunately started out on a not so "prepared" note but the gentleman from Detroit and Jay Lamont were awesome in spite of his guffaw. Joe Torry and Dominique weren't necessary but Lavell was an awesome finish. I had forgotten how funny Damon was and I would have put a package together of Jay Lamont, Damon Williams, The dude from Detroit and Lavell and I would have rated this as amazing!!! All in all 50% funny for the money I spent wasn't bad. One way to look at it is It wasn't bad because of the number of comedians however I've asked myself on several occasions what if the aforementioned performers were the only ones on the roster that night I would I have laughed harder and longer.

All of the comics were horrible except for Jay Lamont and Lavell Crawford. I expected a better performance from Joe Torry. Vanessa Fraction was horrible as usual, and plus I dont even think she was in the original line up, Dominique was and she was a no show. The Host Damon Williams was great, I wish he was one of the acts because he was very funny. For the all that money it should have been a better show.

Whoever put this show together need to be shot! No wonder the tickets were not that expensive. The host of the show was more funny than the comedians that were featured. First of all Dominique did not show up. Then every comedian only had five minutes to perform, literally. I am sooooo glad that Lavell Crawford performed last because he was the funniest. If he had not been last I would have demanded a refund. Luckily there was nothing else recreational to do that night or I would have felt like I could have been doing something else instead of being there.

Well they had six comedians if that's what you want to call them, but only two really brought it, they could have saved all those comedians and just picked a smaller venue or made it a one man show starring Lavell Crawford. Lavell was great from being to end and the dynamite joke as a killer. I will only pay to see a comedy show when its just the star not the other acts!!! Oh I also wanted to mentioned that the MC was from Chicago, and he was very entertaining he helped keep us from walking out and demanding a refund.

Lavelle Crawford saved the show! Otherwise, it would've been pure garbage.

Damon Williams the host was the highlight of the show... he was hilarious. I wished he could have gone on all night. The first comic to come to the stage was awful. There was one guy besides Lavell who was entertaining. Not sure what his name was but he was harmonious. J Torry was the biggest disappoint of the night. I thought he would be funny but he bombed along with so man of them.

The show was not as fulifilling as you thought it would be. First issue was the fact that all promised comics were not there. I was excited to see comedian dominique and she was a no show. the second issue was the material of the comics and it did not keep the attentionof he audience. the final comic ssaved the show which was Lavell Crawford, it wasnt worth the money of the tickets.

Even though we were 15 minutes late my husband & I wasn't laughing like we thought we were. We felt like the funniest one was Lavell. He came out & stole the whole show. I was in tears laughing at him. I would like to see Lavell again by himself. Damon the host was also funny.

Lavell Crawford was so funny, Joe Torry was alright but everyone else was a waste of money. What happened to Dominique, she wasn't even there, and I wanted to see her. I came in about 15 minutes late so I'm not sure if I missed her but I don't remember ever hearing her name mentioned. Damon Williams should have been on the plugger, he was a lifesaver for many of them.
