    Blown Away

by Smiley on 11/26/19The Canyon Agoura Hills - Agoura Hills

It was a return to their roots, a mostly SKA show which was AWESOME! If you like early Cherry Poppin Daddies stuff, you'll love this show. My son, age 16 and I age 54 loved every minute of it. Grab the kids and introduce them to one of the great Swing SKA bands around. Well worth the time, energy, and money. Check them out!

    Great concert

by Bombmom67 on 4/25/17The Cave - Big Bear Lake

The venue was great and the band really rocked it. But I will NEVER get tickets through Ticketmaster again. I paid top dollar for the "best available" seats. They turned out to be nothing more than numbers on a padded bunch all the way in the back of the room. They had chairs stacked in front of where we were going to sit because he said "those seats are horrible..no one ever sits there". Luckily the manager had mercy on us and gave us a table.

    Daddies Popped in Jax.

by MusicMagoo on 2/16/15Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Never saw them live till now, always heard it was a great show. Was concerned since a couple live recent youtubes sounded weak. Must have been the sound quality, Steve Perry was in GREAT voice, musicianship was super solid. First set rat pack and old timey tunes, second set more CPD hits, brought everyone up and dancing! On the rat pack songs Perry didn't try to do impressions, he mostly just sang them in his own vocal style, still the band played very true to the originals. It worked great for me. If you see this show you will have fun unless you just don't like rat pack or swing music. The band seemed to be having as much fun as the audience. A genuinely good time.

A real throwback to a great era of American music

Flawlessly performed, this show brings you back to a time of music sanity! What a wonderful evening!

    The Daddies were incredible!!

by kahite on 11/15/14Carolina Theatre - Durham

These guys are all excellent musicians and front man Steve clearly enjoys his craft and the audience. Steve really pulls off the essence of the Rat Pack along with the backup musicians though he doesn't really need to keep dancing while the horns are being featured. Let's see those horn blowers loosen up!!! Swing is their thing though and I think the songwriting for that is intriguing - stories with wit and references befitting a well read listener. Love this group!!!

    Cherry Poppin Daddies was awful

by Ratpackdisgrace on 10/28/13Cherry Poppin Daddies - Milwaukee

This was not anything like we expected. We took my parents for their 54th wedding anniversary and expected to hear songs from impersonators of the original Rat Pack. There was one singer and he did not sound anything like any member of the Rat Pack. They mainly played their own music and it sounded all the same. Very upset about paying so much money for 4 of us to be bored. We left before the show was done. Kept hoping it would improve, but it never did.
