    Great fun for our family

by Brad J on 4/9/19Birmingham Children's Theatre at the BJCC - Birmingham

This is our 2nd time at Children's Theater. We have seen Peter Pan and Charlotte's Web. I liked in Charlotte's Web that there were more actors so that as they switched between roles it seemed easier to follow. My daughter is 4 and enjoys how the characters interact with the crowds and usually there is some type of a "chase" scene where the actors are running through the theater. We intend to be regulars.

Both my 7 & 4 y.o. enjoyed the performance. My 7 year old read the book and he thought it was just like the book.

    Charlottes Web

The play was great- we brought our 4 year old daughter and 79 year old grandma as a fun family outing and everyone enjoyed the show! The cast worked hard- there were only 5 of them playing all of the different parts and they did a great job of engaging the audience. They pointed out the fireworks at the fair and had all of the children turning in their seats to see! The end of the performance had the kids all looking for the baby spiders floating away in the wind as well.... very cute!

    Very cute play, worth seeing.

by momoftoddlertoteens on 1/28/13The Aiken Theatre at The Centre - Evansville

This play was just perfect for my "date" with my 5 year old daughter. she sat eagerly on my lap and watched every minute. The 5 person cast was flawless and was able to keep her attention. It followed the original storyline well. It lasted just over an hour and is something that I would highly recommend to anyone.

As a mature adult grandma taking a 5 yr old granddaughter, I thought it was great. The only thing I would say it could improve on would be Fern's voice being a little too loud...couldn't always understand what she was saying. Also we were in the front row so maybe were seated a little too close. Very good acting by the whole cast. Thought Charlotte was especially "cute"!!

    Not what I was expecting

by TillaRose on 4/17/12Chester Fritz Auditorium - Grand Forks

I brought my almost 3 year old daughter to see Charlotte's Web and we weren't very impressed. I didn't realize that it was only a 5 person play. I was expecting a barn yard full of animals, with acting that would grab my attention and keep it but that just wasn't the case. I was happy with the length of the play...the actors were good, there just wasn't a lot of 'full' entertainment. Overall, I wouldn't go and see it again.

Charlottes Web is a 5 star production with great talent, excellent interpretation and adorable costumes. I went with my 2nd grader's field trip...and they all loved it. I wanted to go back with my 4th grader but there wasn't any time left.
