Theodis was okay not too raunchy, Shirlry Brown was pretty good strong bluesy voice. The group from Augusta, Georgia was okay. I don't remember the gentleman dressed in white who I believe said he was from Atlanta.,I found his performance indecent, I was offended and felt his description of the sex act was too graphic. Has the Blues descended into graphic pornography? Is this what the genre has become I did not enjoy this gentleman's performance at all and my two friends and I left in the middle of his performances. I am 65 one friend was 60 and the other was 72. I have attended blues concerts in Washington, DC, Willmington, NC and Pomonkey, Maryland and have never heard the type of language from the following performers. The great Bobby Bland, the equally great Johnnie Taylor, the formidable BB King Latimore and other lesser known performers none of them resorted to the type of offensive performance this young man gave. I have listen to and loved the Blues all my life and I pained that the Blues that I love is now so vulgar and coarse. If this is the type of artists that you book I the future I will never attend another concert in Charleston. I drove from Florida to SC to attend this concert because I love Blues, I know most of the best artist are dead but surely you can find other artists who have more respect for the genre and the people who really enjoy artist who don't profanity and graphic description of the sex act. Please don't pollute the Blues like what happened to rap. Early rap was not bad but descended into vulgarity, profanity and misogyny.
