The tennis was fabulous but the ticket prices were overly priced and the venue was less than half full. It would have been better to lower the cost of tickets and fill the stands.
The guys put on a good show for the crowd. Entertaining.
It was fun seeing these players up close and personal and seeing their talent. Unfortunately the event was not treated like a real tennis match. The talking during the match from spectators took away hearing the pros as they talked to each other on the court. The umpire did nothing to attempt to ask people to quiet down like a real match therefore as a spectator we missed out on what could have been a great evening. Only when McEnroe yelled for quiet did umpire even attempt but by time he came out to play event was almost halfway over. The cost was definitely over priced considering we weren’t given a good experience. If handled correctly it possibly could have been worth the money.
Had a great time. The event was great! Disappointed that Rice doesn’t support recycling tho.
Was surprised at the low turnout. I guess it’s a generational thing, but great to see these guys can still play, enjoy it, and entertain. Loved Mac’s “tantrums”.
TicketMaster should have promoted that the parking at Rice University was free. Woo-hoo!
This event was incredible! McEnroe, Roddick, Blake and Couier played outstanding tennis. The crowd was constantly on their feet cheering fantastic shots. Invesco series has found a new home in Houston!!!
Upon arrival, we finally determined that our seats were in Handicap row with no chairs. 15 min later, they finally brought us some. Frustrating
I have enjoyed watching John McEnroe play on tv since I was a young girl! So glad that Andy Roddick (homestate Nebraska), Johnny Mac and the crew made it to Lincoln to the Pinnacle. Saw some awesome tennis (can't believe how hard they hit the ball) and joking with the players. You don't get that at the big tennis tournaments. So much fun! #macattack
Powershares tennis is always outstanding and fun. Great to see the wonderful tennis stars compete but also have fun.
