    CAZZETTE SUCKED!!

by OrlandoMan on 12/31/14House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

The only reason I decided to buy tickets to this show is because there are 3 great songs by Cazzette that I was hoping to hear (Beam Me Up, Weapon, and Glowing). First opening act was Venice, which we did not see. Next was Swanky Tunes, who had just started his set when we got there. Swanky Tunes was actually good. The music was alright, and he made good use of the LED screen with interesting visuals. It was a rather long set, though (almost an hour). As soon as he finished, 50% of Cazzette came onstage - that's right, it was only one member of Cazzette, not the group. The music was lame; just repetitive house beats and uninspired remixes of bad songs. The use of the LED screen was unimaginative, with the same visual repeating over and over. He played only one verse of Beam Me Up and it was a horrible remix with the chord progression removed - utterly dissappointing. It was the kind of lame remix I would expect to hear if I went to some club and an unknown DJ was spinning - not what I would expect from the actual artist. Needless to say, I did not get to hear Weapon or Glowing. Swanky Tunes was actually more enjoyable than 1/2 of Cazzette. Again, this was the kind of set you would expect a mediocre DJ to play at a club, so I'm upset that I paid $48 (plus ticket handling fees) since that is a lot more than what the cover charge at clubs usually costs. I would not go to see Cazzette again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

    cazzette rocked openers were terrible

    by PaulyP4795 on 12/24/12SoundGarden Hall - Philadelphia

listening to cazzette's new album, eject, I expected the concert to be pretty good. Unfortunately, we got there around 10 PM and were forced to listen to stomach wrenching drum and bass for 2 hours. once cazzette came on everything was good but cazzette seriously needs to find himself so more house music openers.
