    So much fun!

by Azerirules on 8/24/15Irvine Meadows (as Sebastian Bach reminded everyone!) - Irvine

Growing up with these bands, I had to attend. All the bands musically were tight especially Junkyard and Tom Keifer. I thought they were the best overall performances. Bulletboys, Trixter, Black N Blue, L A Guns, Faster Pussycat and Sebastian Bach were all fantastic. Not a fan of Saigon Kick so that was when I took a food break. During this time, there was a huge crowd on the side stage to watch Bang Tango. Expect them to be on the main stage for this event next time. Autograph wasn't bad, but they just don't seem to have that level that the others have in the lineup. I was looking forward to Dangerous Toys, but all their songs they performed were from the 1st album. Would've been nice to hear a song or two from the second one. Stephen Pearcy was either bored with singing the Ratt songs, drunk, or just doesn't have it anymore which would be sad. His band was very good, but his singing just wasn't there. Don Dokken may not have a strong voice anymore, but he was still very good despite the obvious technical problems. I left after Tom Keifer as I'm not a fan of Extreme. The rotating main stage was very cool as it was nearly non-stop rock! Outside of the heat, the lack of good food and not being able to see all the bands (wanted to see Bang Tango and Enuff Z Nuff) it was such a fun time. The crowd was very cool outside of a brief fight towards the end by our section. At the merchandise booth, we didn't realize there were other independent booths as my wife wanted a Sebastian Bach shirt. Found out later when I was low on funds. Hopefully they do this again with improvements and I will be looking forward to the next one!

    Cathouse, the 80's live on

by Ronangelfans on 8/21/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - Irvine

Great line-up. Every band played the hits. They should have started earlier so bands didn't overlap.

Best show I've ever been to !!!

by azuncledonny on 8/20/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - Irvine

Thanks to Riki for doing this. It was a must see event for us. We came over from AZ. Couldn't miss the chance to see Toyz and Trixter. I though Bullet Boys should have had a later start but overall an epic event. The rotating main stage was mind blowing. 36 people took various shuttles from the nearby Marriott. Met folks from Tulsa, Chicago, and Canada. No fights, no bangers, just the coolest rock lovin brothers and sisters on the planet. Thanks again.

    Best Concert Ever!

by rattlover on 8/19/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - Irvine

What a day. So many bands and just sad I could not be in two places at once. 2 stages constant music and running into old friends. Only downside was the excessive heat nd I think many people came in late afternoon to miss it. All of the bands sounded great. Loved that the Cathouse booth with Riki was open to get a picture with him or to have him sign something. Great selection of merchandise. I've seen a lot of these bands, but great to see others that dont come out that often or are East Coast bands. Was so nice to have a no-drama day. Enjoyed it all and hoping for another Cathouse Live next year.

Cathouse Live going back in time...

by Anonymous on 8/19/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - Irvine

Great line up and great show! Hoping this will become a yearly event with a mix of other different bands. So awesome to see these bands years later and they still rock out like they did in the 80's and 90's.

WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY, EVERY BAND SOUNDED GREAT AND PLAYED ON TIME. ONLY DOWNFALL WAS THE ACT EXTREME. JUST A BAD BAND TO CLOSE THE NIGHT.

    Awesome show

by Nightstalker2112 on 8/18/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - Irvine

This was a fun show. Hope they do it again as attendance was great. Great bands but i think there would have been a bigger turnout if a different band headlined instead of Extreme, but they were fun too

You Don't Know What You Got Til It's Gone!

by MrCharisma91 on 8/18/15Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Wireless Amph) - Irvine

I wouldn't say that I stopped appreciating 80s style rock and roll, but I certainly missed it. After seeing many current rock bands have zero stage presence and energy while performing, it was a breath of fresh air to see these classic bands all share the stage as they remembered the awesome Cathouse. Tom Keifer was the absolute star of the night, as his set was powerful and the band sounded fantastic. Faster Pussycat's surprise reunion of the original members was a close second for me, and Sebastian Bach also brought a ton of energy. The only negative on the day was how damn hot it was outside, and no one can be blamed for that. Here's hoping that Riki continues to do a Cathouse show each year. If he does, you would be a fool to miss it.

Great lineup and great access to interact with them all. Great day even if it was a billion degrees out.
