CASE IN CONCERT:

R&B crooner Case has been enchanting fans with his silky-smooth voice and sensitive slow jams for more than two decades. From his early days singing backup for artists like Usher and Al B. Sure to his current status as an R&B heavyweight, he has consistently delivered pitch-perfect performances -- both in the studio and in concert. Whether he's singing early favorites like "Touch Me, Tease Me" or treating fans to cuts from 2014's Heaven's Door, Case's passion and charisma on stage always make for an unforgettable concert experience.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

A New York City native, Case Woodard got his start in the early '90s singing backup for artists like Usher and Christopher Williams. Russell Simmons recognized his talent and signed him to Def Jam Records, and in 1996 Case released his debut single "Touch Me, Tease Me". The track featured Foxy Brown and Mary J. Blige and was an immediate hit, landing at No. 4 on the R&B chart and establishing Case as an artist in his own right. His self-titled debut album followed shortly after, earning praise from fans and critics and landing at No. 7 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. His next three albums all placed within the Top 5 on that chart, producing a string of hit singles that included "Happily Ever After" and  "Missing You". With the release of his fifth studio album Heaven's Door generating buzz in 2014, Case has ticket buyers eagerly awaiting the chance to catch him on tour.

    Amazing job

    by MaxMomma on 2/18/23

Case is a wonderful singer and performer. He still sounds like his albums and not many singers still have that. He engaged the crowd and his DJ Mel had the crowd and myself rocking. I can't wait for another concert. The Queen in Delaware was a nice spot. It wasn't too hot.

    Surface stole the show

by Thena on 9/27/22Historic BAL Theatre - San Leandro

Surface was amazing! They had the crowd rocking and on their feet for a good 30 minutes or so. They should have been the headliner. Case was on stage for what seemed like 20 minutes, he did his three big hits first, a few cover songs and then the last hit and the show was over. I understand he does not have a ton of hits but he should have done the major hits at the end. I will never attend a Case show again, but Surface stole the show id love to see them again.

    Promoters Do Better PLZ

by Star on 3/4/20Music Hall Center - Detroit

I feel there definitely should have been a meet and greet. I’ll start off by saying that! Algebra needs more time to perform! Vivians time could have been cut to make this happen! And ALGEBRA BLESSETT Should NOT be the First act!!!! ALGEBRA is THEE only person other than Anthony David I was TRULY TRULY looking to see! and ANTHONY WASNT EVEN THERE! SO SAD!!!! Not only did I pay over $200 to see them. I flew in for this show! TALKED ABOUT PISSED! Worst thing is, I wasn’t even sent an email to say Anthony David was no longer performing! That’s VERY BAD BUSINESS for sure! I do give kudos to Case for showing up putting on his best, dispite being ill! Bobby V did his thing once he stop talking! Again all Wasted time ALGEBRA could have been performing. Vivian did good! So did her backup vocalist! Promoters I understand it’s a money thing to you all! And once you make your money it’s oh well....... But when you are a true fan! I MEAN YOU HAVE A REAL LOVE FOR MUSIC!!!!! And you pay good money. You want to see those you pay to see! Or be informed there’s been a change! That’s the least you can do! At the end of the day Algebra BLESSETT made up for it ALL by taking pictures with fans/supporters and even talking to them. While we all had a chance to purchase AWESOME items! She was even in Detroit a day ahead to have her own meet and greet! That I couldn’t get an earlier flight to attend. But She saved the night for sure!! GET ANTHONY DAVID AND ALGEBRA BLESSETT A CONCERT HERE! ASAP! A mite personal vibe!!! Even if it’s a more intimate venue! Be Blest! SC

    Disappointing

The ladies were outstanding. Chase and Bobby V don’t know what the hell that was. Wasted my money. They are the reasons people are reluctant to spend their hard earn money

    Disappointed

by Unlisted 101 on 3/3/20Music Hall Center - Detroit

Where was Anthony David? Case had the flu and should of been first, not closing, or stayed at home. All of them sung other people songs as fillers. It would’ve been nice if they had their own material for concerts.

I really enjoyed the show. All can really sing live and not just moving their mouths to the music.

    Bittersweet

by EboniChenille on 3/3/20Music Hall Center - Detroit

The concert overall was great! The performers gave their all. I specifically went to the concert for Anthony David, who did not show up. Up until the day of the concert he was promoted on the eadio station and social media as part of the lineup. If the promoter knew he wouldn't be there. They should have said something. It wasn't even mentioned at the concert that he wasn't performing. When the headluner came on stage, that's when the Anthony David fans began walking out disappointed.
