    He still got it!

by Lex Frank on 3/16/24Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel - Detroit

My seats were odd... There were actual chairs set up, but besides that, the show was fantastic. Carl Thomas put on a wonderful show. If he was doing another show any time soon, I'd definitely purchase tickets.

    Fantastic Show!

by MF on 3/13/24Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel - Detroit

Great experience, everything from the venue, performance, and overall customer service from staff was great. Carl Thomas gave a fantastic show and sounds just as good as he did 20 years ago. Will definitely see him again. Had great seats that compared to other shows and venues was great value for money spent. However, seats were shoulder to shoulder with very little elbow room. Other than that 2 thumbs up!

    Great voice, stage presence

    by Charlie on 8/21/23

Carl’s voice still sounds as good as it did 20 years ago. He interacts with the audience and dances. He performed a lot of his songs from the first album which was a treat. Go see him for yourself, you won’t leave disappointed.

    Excellent Experience

by Renting Houses LLC on 4/10/23The Lyric - Baltimore

Very enjoyable evening the show opener local talent Quinten White did an amazing job , very natural ambiance on stage great vocals can't wait to catch his next show, followed by Christopher Williams who still had the ladies captivated with his upbeat and engaging performance, Lyfe Jennings started with my absolute favorite song and despite not having live instrumentals was able to adapt and continue on , lastly Carl Thomas' performance was interrupted by a medical emergency in the crowd which was handled expeditiously , Carl paused the show until all was well and picked up right where he left off ending the show on a great note

    Mixed Reviews

by Tip on 4/10/23The Lyric - Baltimore

The artists were great but DJ Jazz was subpar. He consistently played the wrong track for each performer. Also, the event staff were not prepared for a medical emergency. It took too long for the individual to receive care.

Carl, Lyfe, Chris & Q White came to entertain

by R. Randall on 4/10/23The Lyric - Baltimore

Baltimore native Q White opened the show. His covers of a few hit songs ignited a curiosity for his originals. The ladies sitting behind me kept asking what's his name and when he finished said he is talented. Clearly he's new to the business but he was succrssful in getting crowd participation and applause. Christopher Williams was up next. His performance was shockingly awesome. Returning to the stage after major kidney challenge that left doctors stating he wouldn' walk or sing again. Chris worked all corners of the stage, walked into the crowd, stood on a chair. He talked a little too much in my opinion, but, his voice and delivery of his songs was as good as hearing them over the radio or as part of a listner party turned up. Although Christopher Williams was part of the warm up for Carl Thomas it was clear Chris had a lot more to offer. Lyfe Jennings came on after Chris. He also worked the stage, showed he had some fans in the house. Lyfe started multiple songs and let his fans sing a few bars. I've seen Lyfe's show when he has his band. The crowd cheered but Lyfe, like Chis had more! Carl Thomas was definitely the headliner! From the first song to his last the ladies was on their feet. His handling of an in the crowd medical situation was empathitic and professional. When it was over he turned it back on and accomodated the crowd request to do a song he sung earlier. The crowd loved him! Q White, Christopher Williams, Lyfe Jennings and Carl Thomas came to entertain!!

    Unpleasant experience

by No on 4/10/23The Lyric - Baltimore

No stage presence, no backdrops, no props, no background singers. Performances were very short 4-5 songs per artist not sung nowhere near entirety. Not a good show for the money spent.
