Carl's lyrics were hit and miss. His song writing doesn't seem to be quite on par with his written poetry, which is surprising. The band was great: true musicianship, but Carl doesn't really have chops vocally. His style of singing isn't really conducive to heading a band of that size. The energy was positive overall.

The talent displayed that night will not be forgotten but will now be my happy place when I need uplifted. The words, sounds and execution from the musicians was imperfectly, perfect and the creativity bounced of of them and jumped onto me...I am encouraged.

Smart, sexy, funky and fierce. Rux brings it, every time. And then Nona Hendryx shows up. All the collaborators here are at the top of their game.
