Caribbean Fever Music Festival Tickets

The idea behind the festival was great. The choice of bands from French and English speaking Caribbean Island was excellent. And of course, Wyclef Jean did not disappoint. The only glitch in the program was the apparent technical difficulties with the sound that went on while two of the bands were performing, Djakout Music and Tabou Combo. The problem was not resolved until Kassav took the stage and then the sound was flawless for their performance and subsequently Wyclef Jean. Go figure.

Irie Jamboree is an event that I will always support. That being said, I don't think Barclays was the best venue for it. Reggae/dancehall concerts thrives best off the energy of the crowd. But when the show started, the stadium wasn't too packed. People filtered in slowly as they would when it was held at Roy Wilkins Park, not realizing that the show had to start on time (since it was in an arena w/set times). I have to give it to the artists though - their energy was great, and they got the crowd started.

I enjoyed myself as an avid reggae fan and first time at that show I was very happy with not just the show but the center itself was wonderful

It was live i would recommend next time put down the screen so those who are not seated close can see the artist up close on the drop screen!

This was a reggae fans dream. Lady Saw's last dancehall performance before going into gospel music made this a must see. Shabba and Damian Marley killed it....loved it from start to finish!

I had a wonderful time. Irie Jamboree surpassed by expectations. I was not ready for Irie Jamboree to come to a close. It was phenomenal!

I thought the show was well put together. I have always listened to the music but this was my first time seeing them performed and it was great! It really took me back to my party days in College and University.

The event was wicked. All those great entertainers on one stage for one night. History in the making; and the Marley brothers--nice!

Great show!! Old school reggae artists and songs were unforgettable. Cant wait for more reggae shows to come to the Barclay.
