About

CAPTURE THE CROWN IN CONCERT:

Australian metalcore rockers Capture the Crown hit hard at their live shows, flooring fans with an all-out sonic assault that always gets the adrenaline pumping. The band backs up their aggressive sound with razor-sharp musicianship, executing their arpeggiated riffs and breakneck tempos with dizzying dexterity. As the hammering guitars, driving bass, and bludgeoning drums set the pace, frontman Jeffrey Wellfare stalks the stage like a madman, issuing his growls with savage intensity. With brutal yet melodic anthems like "Ladies & Gentlemen...I Give You Hell" and "You Call That a Knife? This Is a Knife!" in their arsenal, Capture the Crown are ready to rock hard in 2016 as an opener on Slaves’ Us Against the World Tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Capture the Crown formed in Sydney in 2010 from the ashes of metalcore outfit Atlanta Takes State. They got off to a running start, releasing their debut single "You Call That a Knife? This Is a Knife!" to YouTube and racking up more than five million views in less than a year. A string of popular singles followed including"#OIMATEWTF" and a cover of Jason Derulo's song "In My Head", and in 2012 the band embarked on a tour with Woe, Is Me. Later that year Capture the Crown signed with venerable indie metal label Sumerian and released their debut album 'Til Death, a critically acclaimed effort that peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. After extensive touring in 2013 as both a headlining act and an opener for big names like Of Mice & Men and Story of the Year, Capture the Crown returned the studio and began work on their sophomore album. The result was 2014's Reign of Terror, another hard-hitting slice of metalcore mayhem that landed on the Billboard 200 and drew the band out for more touring. With their highly anticipated third album generating big buzz in 2016, Capture the Crown hit the road for a spring tour with post-hardcore rockers Slaves.
