Not happy
by Polly on 4/4/19Charleston Municipal Auditorium - CharlestonFor the price of our tickets I wasn't impressed. When you have limited income paying over $60 for 2 people and not long of music. Groups were good but felt it was rushed.
We're sorry, but we couldn’t find any events. Try updating your location and date range, or use more general keywords.

All the performers captured the totality of my attention. What I remember the most was the piano player for the Inspirations. Entertainment like this is a bargain at any price. It saddens me that GOD'S music doesn't have more followers.
Very good show. All the singers were very friendly and wonderful singers.
Had a great evening. The worship was awesome. All the groups were really good
The performance of all the groups was an incredible experience. I'm always enlightened from hearing the story of the gospel through their songs.. I was disappointed to hear of the passing of Norman Wilson. He has ascended to a place he sang about. I appreciate their talent and message of helping to keep Christ alive in our hearts and mind. THANK YOU.
All 5 were great. These folks are more "mountain/bluegrass" style than what a lot of folks might like, but not only do they do what they do well, they aren't ashamed to be who they are! They love the Lord and are content to be in this ministry. I appreciate that!
The Gospel Sings are always a hit. Highly recommend any of these events and would love to have more of them in Charleston.
Wow, what an unforgettable night of gospel music! Some of the best known voices in southern gospel music played for nearly 4 hours. I certainly got my money's worth and plan to attend again. The Primitive Quartet, The McKamey's, The Good Sheppard Quartet, Mike Upright, Archie Watkins and the Smokey Mountain Reunion (aka the original Inspirations). You'll be hard pressed to find a better line up of musicians anywhere else in WV.
What an awesome evening of good ole' Southern Gospel music. Each of the acts done a fantastic job bringing glory to God. The only thing that could have been better was the concessions. It was the worst I'd ever seen at any local concert or event. If the auditorium does not want to provide them, then allow local church groups to come in and raise money for their church projects.
I'm always mesmerized by the story of the Gospel as sung through Southern Gospel music. It's unfortunate that more people don't find inspiration from this style of music. The price that is charged is a bargain. You can't get quality entertainment anywhere for these prices. I'd gladly pay more.
