    Funny and heartwarming

by Azbyc on 4/12/16Meadow Brook Theatre - Rochester

I was leary of going to show from reading the 2 reviews that were available on ticketmaster site. fortunately, I had an aunt that went to a matinee and she assured me she & her friend both really enjoyed the play & laughed all the way through. Ended up going with a group and we all enjoyed the performence. The cast was believable as brits, it flowed well and the witty remarks were well timed. Taught me to be cautious of reviews. Amazing how people can take time to complain, but not to congratulate.

Well-staged adaptation of the movie; touching

by RNunz on 4/5/16Meadow Brook Theatre - Rochester

Very creatively staged, especially the scenes of John's passing, the calendar shoot, and the sunflowers on the hill. Good writing and acting weaves humorous and touching moments seamlessly, and this production does just that. Brava, ladies!

    A Bit Dull

by oldswimmer on 3/21/16Meadow Brook Theatre - Rochester

After seeing the movie, I was very excited to be going to the play. The play was very draggy at the beginning. Not much excitement. It was an average presentation, but I certainly would not go back again.

    A disappointment

by StubbyOne on 5/18/15California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

The production was shoddy. The set was minimal and drab. One character kept stumbling over her lines, another character kept "losing and finding" her English accent. For the price of the tickets I was expecting something much more professional, this was a $20.00 per ticket performance, not a $70.00 per ticket performance.
