About

BURN HALO IN CONCERT:

Hard rock outfit Burn Halo blazed up the charts in 2015 with "Dying Without You," the latest in a string of blistering Top 40 hits from the Orange County, CA-based rockers. Despite the band's continued success, frontman James Hart parted ways with the group in early 2016, clearing the way for ex-Track Fighter singer TJ Chopelas to come on board. It was a bittersweet moment for fans – Burn Halo's unique fusion of straight-up rock and mind-melting metalcore was Hart's vision first, but Chopelas is a killer performer known for his ability to both sing and scream like nobody's business. Fans got a taste of the new lineup at the band's shows in early 2016, and the response was unanimous – Chopelas is a more-than-worthy replacement, and his dynamic voice perfectly suits the band's ability to seamlessly fuse anthemic melodic passages with brutal metal-inspired breakdowns. The new Burn Halo is at the top of their game and ready to rock fans with their reinvigorated sound and hard-hitting live shows.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Burn Halo was formed by James Hart in 2007 following the breakup of his metal band Eighteen Visions. Looking to pursue a more straight-up rock sound, Hart teamed up with producer Zac Maloy and recorded his self-titled debut with a team of talented studio musicians that included members of Nickelback and Jane's Addiction. The album was a success, cracking the Top 20 on Billboard's Heatseekers and Indie charts and drawing Hart out on the road with his newly formed touring band. Following stints in support of big acts like Escape the Fate, Papa Roach, and Puddle of Mudd, the band returned to the studio to record 2011's Up from the Ashes, another Top 20 hit on the Heatseekers chart that led to more shows. In 2015 Burn Halo released their third album Wolves of War to critical acclaim, but Hart left the band shortly afterwards and was replaced by former Track Fighter frontman TJ Chopelas. The new lineup quickly found their footing, impressing fans at their first shows together and drumming up big hopes for their next chapter.

    Burn Halo ROCKS!!

by Anejo on 9/2/11The New Nest - Fostoria

Recently I bought tickets for Burn Halo and Drowning Pool, Burn Halo frontman James Hart was sick could barely talk, with that knowledge before they started I was wondering "how good can they sound"? Standing front and center I watched the band pour so much energy into their set it was truly remarkable. Hart belted out the lyrics as if nothing was wrong. After the show i had the opportunity to meet Joey Roxx and James along with Brandon Lynn...not only where they by far the best band that night they where such cool down to earth people..so if you have a night available and they are playing locally I suggest you see them before they get huge because that is the only direction a band with this much talent can go....UP!! Absolutely AMAZING band!!

    Red Line Chemistry wasn't there!!!!

    by magroves143 on 8/13/11Chameleon Club - Lancaster

I bought the tix (cheap as they were) to see Red Line Chemistry. Imagine my disappointment when they weren't even there to play!!!! Ugh! Two locals bands did play hot, heavy and LOUD! Of course there were unfortunately no people there to absorb the sound though - 50 max. But kudos to Burn Halo. Even though I wasn't there to see them, even though they could look out and see so few people, they still rocked it out very hard for those in attendance. RESPECT! If it wasn't only $11 for a ticket, I might have asked for my money back. Buy it was still a good time. Still looking forward to catching RLC. What happened to them??
