Great show from the band to all of the dancers.Great date night.

The Brian Newman Band are talented musician's. It was a nice touch to have live music added to the burlesque performances! Brian you are a great trumpeter, but horrible as a vocalist. You took away from the show, too many songs, and the long raffle intermission. Our group wanted to leave at one point! Carley Harvey (DC) vocalist was great and should have been the songtress for the night! Burlesque Performances: The Maine Attraction, you always bring it! Mr. Gorgeous was very entertaining. Bebe Bardeaux was okay Tequila Honybee no show, but advertised (Angie) I have seen your performances in 2015 & 2023. As the headliner, you always have a very conservative performance and others out shine you! Try to bring something different to your performances, get into character, and tell the story! I'm from the Richmond Va area, and the burlesque ladies here always bring it. Ellie Quinn, Empress De Naste, Kayy Lovely, Vanessa Chevelle. Check them out! It's always a packed house, and electrifying energy, when they step out on the stage!

I liked the show better in 2015 with Albert Cadabra as the host, along with the performaces! The Brian Newman Band members are talented musicians. I did enjoy the live music with the performances. I didn't like Brian's singing. Great trumpet player, but (horrible) vocalist. Your (husband) did too many songs, which took away from the show and the Raffle intermission was also too long! Our group was ready to leave! Carley Harvey (DC vocalist), should have done all the singing! Burlesque Performances: The Maine Attraction is always captivating! Mr Gorgeous was very entertaining. Bebe Bardeaux was okay. Tequila Honeybee no performance but advertised as a performer. (Angie) as the headliner, try to step out of your conservative zone, and bring something more exciting to your performances. This is my 2nd time seeing you 2015 & 2023. I'm from Richmond Va, - Our ladies bring it, with their creativity, costumes, props, and overall energy! If you are ever in the Richmond area, stop by and check us out!

After attending this show since it’s first at the the Birchmere this was the first show where I watched patron after patron leave early. Over the years the show had gotten better, but this year was a complete miss. The show was less of a Burlesque & more of Jazz/Blues show with Burlesque dancers; missed Murray Hill!!! Brian is a great musician, but can not MC. I applaud the attempt to be inclusive with the addition of Mr. Gorgeous, but was relieved for one to not be in the front rows as he spewed stuff from his mouth all of the folks at the front tables. The guest singer was amazing, what a beautiful voice; what wasn’t was Brian talking or making comments during her number or going off stage to get a beer while she was performing. She may not have been insulted, but I was for her, as were several of the patrons sitting around me. Angie is so talented & classy, as are the other performers; need more of their performance & less of all the rest. Take the show back to its roots, it’s what the patrons & longtime fans are paying for.

These performers were top notch. The local woman who was given a spot was spectacular. (And I don't even know her.) The best burlesque show I have seen. The comedian was at the top of his game. And a live band really was a step up.

This show gets better each time we attend. Loved Mr. Gorgeous.

This show was really entertaining. Fun for men and women. The host Murray Hill was extremely funny and I have always liked the music of Brian Newman. So that was a great combination. The woman Burlesque dancers were very professional and did well to exhibit the art form of this dance style. The show was very tasteful and fulfilling. Even interactive with the audience. I would definitely see this show again.

Nothing about this show was good. A complete waste of time and money. I couldn't had a V-8...

The Birchmere is an amazing venue. However this show is barely burlesque. The name burlesque carries with it a certain “class” which was nowhere evidenced in this show. It is a striptease with a lewd MC, blatant sexuality and no artistic talent WHATSOEVER. Not funny. Not talented. Not worth a penny.

I had a smile on my face the whole time 😁😁😁... Thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful cast 😁
