Great performance, infused with the wisdom of his years . Him music hits the core of righteousness and refreshes I message of love and joy. Played old songs and some BMW favorites.
It was important for me to see this legend - OG Jamaican rasta in the house! Bunny was uplifting, he played great songs - had the whole house singing along with him. It was bliss! The venue though is not how I prefer to see a show, with dinner seating for people who want to do that and general admission/standing all around the parameter. The showtime was supposedly at 8pm, doors at 6p. I arrived at 7:45 (so did everyone else it looked like) and had to stand out in the rain for 20 minutes. What the? When I was finally got let in, had to stand in another line and go downstairs into a low ceilinged place - claustrophobic fire hazard dreams 4-evah now! My drink was $28, which was hard to swallow (not the double tequila but the price). Great bartenders, hard working, very nice.
I TOOK MY HUSBAND FOR HIS BIRTHDAY/RETIREMENT AND HE LOVED THE SHOW. THIS WAS HIS 1ST TIME GOING OUT AND HE DIDN'T CARE WHAT TIME WE GOT HOME HE IS RETIRED. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND I HAD TO GO TO WORK THE NEXT MORNING LOL. BUNNY WAILER WAS GREAT AND HE KEPT ON GOING I HAD TO SIT. HE HAS SO MUCH ENERGY AT HIS AGE. WE HAD A BALL.
rockers at its very best. bunny was in top form with great back up group. he did his classics and did bob and peter also. the nite for me was very up lifting, great medicine for my total being. last times i saw bunny was nyc at msg and at the becon theatre and that was a while. i hope it does not take 25yrs more to come again nyc. iam 68 and so is he. but the music will always be in my heart body and soul. rock on ayah int frank out.
One of the best reggae concerts I've ever been to. Bunny Wailer worked the crowd and performed the way only a true legend could it. The show was sold out and I doubt you could find a single person who was not totally satisfied with the show. I can only hope to be lucky enough to see him perform live again.
He was good and his band was great but he spent at least as much time playing Bob Marley songs (plus a Peter Tosh song) than his own songs which I thought was unfortunate.
Bunny Wailer is the best, has the good vibes. Getting old isn't something that seems to effect his skills as he is still singing with an amazing voice, get to a show before he retires!
The show was amazing, great turn out.I can't wait to see the lone living wailer again.
It was Spectacular. Bunny is the real deal!! This was my 3rd Bunny Show. 1st was in Miami in 1986, 2nd was 19 years ago at the Beacon in New York. Bunny is a musical legend. His voice was strong - undiminished. What a regal man he is! Best show I’ve seen in a long, long while. Bunny was in a groove. It felt like he did something special for New York. Perfect Set list with a great Bob Marley mini-set in there. His voice was amazing and the crowd was way into it. My voice is shot.
