Bumber 2010: I'll Be Back Again!

    by Miller1992 on 9/12/10Seattle Center - Seattle

This event was great! It's sort of like Seattle's version of Woodstock, but not quite. Nevertheless, it was amazing! All of the artists played with their heart and gave the audience what they paid for!

    DRAKE DEFINED AMAZING

by SeaDrakeSeaMJB on 9/8/10Seattle Center - Seattle

The event was all together what I expected and more! J Cole, I didn't even know who he was but now I do and I love him! Drake performed to kill! He was def. not a let down and Mary J Blige is def. vocally talented. Her dancing was funny but she kept the audience dancing.

Mary J was is like no other!

by Helyn on 9/8/10Seattle Center - Seattle

Mary J was worth the wait and standing in the rain. She looked and sounded even better in person. Wish she performed longer, but she gave 100%. She is a true R&B singer who left her soul on the stage.

    What a great time!

by Teeyah on 9/8/10Seattle Center - Seattle

Toyota tent, you rocked! I made a Shrinky Dink, spun the wheel for a prize, took car booth photos with Edward Cullen, and the bands were great! Bomba Estero from Colombia were especially cool, psychodelic cumbia! Like a Good Neighbor, State Farm tent gave me a T-Shirt and a massage! Thank you Mary J for an especially great show for all your fans singing in the rain! It was awesome!

    Drake was unforgettable

by chellenise on 9/8/10Seattle Center - Seattle

The main event concert was the best! J Cole, Mary J and Drake was awesome! Cant wait until next year. The food was okay. Don't ever eat the hot dog it was the worst! As good as the food is in Seattle they surely could have found better vendors from A-Z. The T-Shirts were thin and expensive.

    Saturday and Monday

by Maroland on 9/8/10Seattle Center - Seattle

Saturday: Art installations in NW Rooms were great! Concert "The Round" on Saturday was wonderful. Bob Dylan sucked. Memorial Stadium is a terrible venue. Couldn't understand a word of any of the groups; Decemberists, Neko Case or Dylan. I know Dylan mumbles but still....the acoustics in that place are terrible! Food served in the stadium...terrible. Monday: Trampled by Turtles-great Lay Low- great Would I recommend event to a friend? Perhaps. Depends on who is playing. Would not recommend seeing anything in Memorial Stadium! :

It was a great event and I am sure that I will be going back next year. This is my first year living in Seattle and I am glad that there are events like Bumbershoot close to home.

    Bumbershoot delivers again

    by Nomad9999 on 9/7/10Seattle Center - Seattle

Only at Bumbershoot can you go see such a wide array of wonderful music. From funk to Folk (Horse Feathers) to up and coming alternative ( Hey Marseille, RaRa Riot) to punk ( Bouncing Souls) to Electronica ( Delorean) to Blues ( James Cotten ) and soul. Followed by great headliners like Billy Bragg and Weezer. Bumbershoot always introduces me to new music and is a great place to take the kids
