Little did I know it would take me almost 20 years to catch this amazing production again! Benaroya Hall in Seattle is such a beautiful venue and the staff is very gracious. Thank you, George Daugherty for creating, directing and conducting some of the funniest and most memorable cartoons, and bringing them to the big screen where they belong! Looking forward to your next production, the sequel Bugs Bunny at the Symphony!
I'm glad we were able to attend the last show. It brought back so many great memories for me and my husband. My children, ages 15 and 17, also enjoyed the show. I also really enjoyed listening to tall the little kids in the audience laugh at Bugs Bunny.
A must see! This was fabulous and entertaining. Nothing better than remembering the classic cartoons on the big screen with the live orchestra music.
This is the third time I've seen Bugs on Broadway. The performance was flawless and amazing. Thist was the first time, however, I've been to Merriweather Post Pavillion. I will try not to ever go back. It is a crumby venue compared to the Wolftrap. You can't bring food in, but they food they have to sell you is AWFUL.
I heard about the Bugs Bunny on Broadway-BSO concert at the last minute but managed to get really good seats. I went with my fiance and am so glad. It was so much fun watching the old cartoons and hearing everyone's laughter. We both thought it was wonderful that multiple generations shared the fun of these cartoons and the magnificent performace from the BSO.
What an outstanding performance of the classic Carl Stallings Project! For any Warner Brothers fan this is a must-see show. The conductor's knowledge of the music and background add greatly to the performance. The 1930's restored slide guitar is an added treat to this excellent production!
This was the second time we saw Bugs on Broadway, and the program was fantastic. The kids loved the music and the cartoons. 8:30 for a family show is too late, though. Merriweather Post Pavilion needs to be clearer on their policy for bringing in food, coolers, and chairs. Apparently, anything goes (despite the policy stated on their website).
This is the second time I've seen this...it's awesome! I do wish they had Marvin the Martian, though. Can't wait to see the new show when it comes out!
Great mix of some classic Bugs Bunny and other characters along with the talented and moving tones of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. What a wonderful way to introduce or reinforce quality, classical music with our children and grandchildren. The evening was a winner for 5 year old gransdon all the way up to the seniors -- Pop-Pop and Mumau. Thank you!
