Bruce Robison Tickets

Have many of Dale Watson's CDs. Came to hear him live for first time. Had never heard Kelly Willis before and was blown away by her. Very powerful stuff and a beautiful voice. She, Bruce, and Dale share incredible ease with the audience. However, Dale was, and still is, the very best there is. If there was anything disappointing in the show, it was that Dale's time on stage was too short. He isn't in the area enough and he demands more than opening act status. It doesn't do justice to the range and extent of his vocal and songwriting talent. Inexcusable that he didn't have time to sing Whiskey or God so that those in the crowd less familiar with him could hear one of the two or three all-time best songs in true country music. You won't hear it on mainstream radio, God (or whiskey) only knows why.

…and Kelly sings his songs beautifully. She should sing more of them. Else, top quality show. These guys are pros. Dale Watson was a HOOT!

Dale Watson opened this good show and got standing ovations coming and going. Trouble is he only got to play 30 minutes as the opener. He is why I attended and I hope he can headline at this venue in the future. Kelly and Bruce were really good but are not quite my style - a little too tame and sweet. They have excellent music and voices, but the music doesn't grab me emotionally. Like I said, I went for Dale and the Lonestars.

Bruce and Kelly AND their band out on an amazing show!! It was a lot of fun with an excellent range of songs. Highly recommended for all country lovers.

I've seen Kelly and Bruce a number of times. It's kind of funny...you can tell they have been married for a few years because they knew how to push the others buttons. You gotta love Bruce singing "Traveling Soldier", "Angry All the Time" and "My Brother and Me." And, of course, Kelly was simply outstanding. If you want to kick back, drink a cold one and hear some awesome alt country, this is the show for you.

Kelly was stunning as usual and Bruce had some good moments as well. Weak closing # was my only regret. Band in good form, especially their slide guitar player.

Between Kellie's voice and Bruce's writing this is Americana Country at it's finest. Great vocals, easy together, band is tight. Band: Pedal Steel/Les Paul, Bass, Kellie played a road-worn Collings and Bruce played a Taylor. Don't miss this finely tuned and well crafted act.
