The membership offers presale options, but the same options are available simply by signing up to the Ticketmaster email list. I have received offers to attend certain events, which I could not make due to my schedule. Unless you have free time to sit an wait for the free offers, which they are few of, do not bother.
I have been a BIC member for the past year. Membership provides advance purchase rights to only a few concerts during the year. The advance purchase rights become available prior to the sale to the general public, but after other preferred groups have been given a right to purchase the best seats. The advance purchase rights are given only with respect to a few concerts each year, and are not given with respect to the very popular concerts like Wicked or other top shows. In general, BIC membership is not worth much.
