A few of the singers failed to hit high and low notes. Although the story line was basically the same as the movie none of the original songs were sung. That was a real disappointment. The overall "new" version was extremely insulting to the catholic faith.
Powerful, gorgeous voices, and music to which I could relate.(I was born in 1951). The story line was connected seamlessly.
The dance routines were great and the music awakened the early spirit of rock and roll. Wonderful character portrayal1
The actors were great! The costuming and set was top notch. I went with my Mom and aunt and we loved it.
Although there were a few errors the overall play was delightful and made me want to try and get the movie to watch.
Great singing voices, especially as a chorus. Fun twists to the play and music. The only issue we experienced was the sound. If the talking was quiet we couldnt hear them or understand them. If they spoke quickly the same thing would happen. The people running the audio/visual equipment could have been more aware of the sound and also more considerate of the audience as they talked and moved around too much during the play.
The performance of the actors along with the staging was top-notch.
Great show! The cast was great. The leads were very good singers. Would recommend seeing the show--especially if enjoyed the movie.
Even thou the play was good, funny and very enjoyable. I think the lighting could have been better. There was some dark spot on the sides, you hardly saw the actors.
